Love the whole Empire High books. Cannot wait for the 8th installment. It does have a cliffhanger and is not mentioned. I think it is something that should have been said.

Great story, terrible narration

I love Ivy’s writing & the EH Series. This is a great addition to the story & I’m looking forward to the conclusion in the last book. That being said, the woman who narrates Brooklyn’s parts of the story was almost unbearable to listen to. She sounds like she’s struggling to get every word out. Her voice is too breathy on her own parts & when she reads Matt’s words in her chapters, she does this weird gravelly voice. It just doesn’t work for me & was super distracting from the story. Connor Crais as Matt is amazing, but I’m hoping they cast someone else as Brooklyn in the last book!

Amazing. Seeing everything finally coming together. Left with a major cliffhanger. Eagerly waiting for the next book.

Okay Narration

I knew there was going to be a cliffhanger, but I did not anticipate this one. I don’t know how long we have to wait for the next book, but I hope it’s not long.

This book had all the feels. There were moments when I laughed, and then there were moments when I wanted to cry. I think my favorite moments in this book was Tanner and Jacob. I loved how much he cared for the little boy. Actually, I loved Jacob’s relationship with Nigel and Matt, too. They all had a special bond with the little boy.

I was really disappointed when Miller died because I loved him so much. Ivy wrote this book so beautifully. She honored him and his memory, but she also wrote about second chances with Matt. I’m so happy that it wasn’t dragged out and that their love for each other conquer it all.

It was fun to have all your favorite characters together again. She even included characters that haven’t been mentioned for a few books, including Felix. I’m still not on board with Nigel being part of the story. He’s a little quirky for me. I don’t know if that takes away from the story or not, but I have to admit that I did laugh in certain places. It was also cute for the kids to be together. Little Sophie and I share the same taste in cupcakes. Ha ha.

Amazing! A perfect mixture of laughing, crying, and everything in between! Another perfect book!!

I absolutely love this series! I’ve read every book in less than a day because I couldn’t put any of them down! I especially love that these books make me laugh just as hard, if not harder then I ever cry! My family always thinks I’m crazy because I’m wiping tears away from laughing so hard. Keep up the amazing books!!
