This story would be a good full-length book

I liked Everett as a MMC (main male character). Trying to do right by everyone and needing someone of his own to love and cherish (and vice versa). He was honorable, devoted, and selfless. Michelle is sweet and nurturing. I think I would have clicked with her more in a dual POV or in a female narrator’ s voice. I liked Cade Cohen’s voice for Everett, but didn’t care for it for Michelle. I kept feeling she was a bit sappy and know that’s not where the author was going. But with an audiobook, it’s all about the presentation. This was good as a short, insta-love, but would have preferred it as a longer story, giving both of them some flesh on the bone. I will definitely try another Pandora Snow book, as this was my first. Liked the sex scene — but don’t use proper names, it felt clinical (I know, both were in the medical field but they didn’t need to use the terms). Look forward to more.
Oh, I had received a code to listen to for free, but couldn’t find where to enter the code, so I did buy this audio to be able to review it.

Everett and Michelle

I was gifted an Audible version of this book from the author. And I very much enjoyed it! This M.E.D.I.C.S series has been so awesome. So glad I got to meet Everett and Michelle. He is being pulled all ways in his civilian life. Work. Caring for his father. Dealing with his past deployment. So glad he found his HEA.
The narrator did a good job. Very distinct. Loved his voice for Everett! Strong, sexy. His female voice and "old man" voice, not as well. Ha! All very entertaining!

Wonderful book!

Cade did a great job with the voices. The overall story line is very realistic. The HEA just makes my heart melt!

What a wonderful short story. It’s nice to listen to good things happening to soldiers upon homecoming.
