Great audio!!!

Open Mind is a great audiobook . The characters are great. I loved getting to see little parts of all the different character. Jamie and Ronan are scorching together. The story is sweet and kinky!
Kale Williams did a great job with this narration! His British accent is so die for!!!

Authentic BDSM book - no cringe!

You can tell that the authors actually have experience deep in the BDSM community. The kinky scenes are detailed and authentic. If you’re not familiar with BDSM or don’t have an Open Mind (pun intended), you might be uncomfortable with the explicit scenes. But if you’re in the BDSM community (as I am), you’ll appreciate a realistic book with none of the fake-y cringe that you can find in some fiction. The narrator is very good and does a sexy English accent too!

I enjoyed this book so much!

Yes, it’s erotica. Yes, it’s kink. But it’s also good writing, and a story, and characters with color and dimension. It is so delightful to find the whole package together!

Kale Williams is the cherry on top. His performance is really pretty fantastic. I think I’ve underrated his talent before this. My opinion has been revised.

Short, but so sweet and spicy!

Fabulous performances! I kept scrolling through narrators commonly used by this company to determine the real names (or names used in their straight, less spicy, work)…as I refuse to google it until I’m done.

This one starts out hot. While built upon the framework of a cliché romance perfect for Hallmark, it occurs within the gay kink community and doesn’t skip out on the spice. Like most novels, it gets spicy quickly and then just refers to it as the cliché love story plays out. This one skips any massive crisis (once you’ve listened you’ll see how downplayed this crisis is…if you have friends like mine it would be peak drama), but is still a nice love story in the end…HEA that is snooze worthy.

I gave it stars for being more upfront about the lifestyle and descriptive, spank worthy scenes (double entendre intended). People living the lifestyle are just people…people with evenings that are more engaging with their partners, than watching a movie on the couch (although that’s done, too). I like listening to multifactorial stories with multifaceted characters.

Honestly, I could have skipped the last 1.5 hours of the story, as the HEA plays out so predictably and it’s boring.

My first exposure to BDSM

I'll have to say that I have an open mind about BDSM. This book, Open Mind, proved to be a real adventure for me. I realize there are many aspects to a BDSM relationship so I was pleased to see this author's approach to the subject. Can love find its way to these two characters hearts? The narrator is an excellent choice. I loved every aspect of this audiobook.

Great Audiobook

I loved this as a story but hearing it come to life brought it to a new level. This was a new narrator for me but did a great job.

REAL KINK!

Say what you will about a low angst book, but I need them sometimes. And this story is so good, it’s low angst high steam and just such a great and reality based view of the world of BDSM and kink. I love a good forced submission or daddy dom book but this story really showed all that goes into forming a relationship that includes an alternative lifestyle. The love and care of those relationships is only deepened by the honesty and trust required to participate in SSC/risk aware kink.
