Great book

This book has brought me back to the basics. As a leader, it’s important to actively and regularly focus on self-improvement as well as being humble. Th author discussed how having a strong mindset will benefit you in the long run, and how to be a great leader by changing important aspects of your personal life. It’s a great asset to any leader looking to improve their customer service skills. Will recommend!!!

Valuable Guidance

This book thoroughly details the essential skills needed for anyone in a leadership position. It not only discusses how to lead others, but how to change your own state of mind and discover your own strengths. The advice is practical advice that can be implemented immediately to help you succeed on current and future projects. I enjoyed hearing the success stories of great leaders sprinkled throughout the book. The narrator also did a great job, and the book was enjoyable to listen to.

In-depth!

I have listened to a few leadership books, and this one is at the top of the list. My favorite section was about how you could transform your business based on your leadership qualities. There are so many roles in life where you need leadership skills that everyone could benefit from this audiobook! The narrator also has a great voice for the material!

This Book Is Essential

This book came at an ideal time for me because I was feeling work challenges in my supervisory role. This book is full of ways I can improve. I really enjoyed the format and message of the book. I intend to listen to it again very soon.

As a small business owner, and as someone who has been in management rules for years, this is an excellent resource, for anyone looking to be a better leader. One of the concepts I loved in this book, is how the author explains that leadership is just as much about self-improvement as it is about helping others improve.

This book covers all the topics you need to know to become a good leader for your team, and it is really insightful and instructive. You will learn more and feel more confident in your management abilities after listening to this audiobook. Excellent narration and writing!

Outstanding Leadership Tool

I read the book first and found many parts that as a Leader were great reminders of the strategy to be used in managing my operation. The audible book was pleasant to listen to, and is as informative as the book itself. THe audiobook serves as a great tool now for a quick refresher on specific chapters that I think I want to focus on by being able to listen while driving! An Outstanding Leadership Tool, buy both the book and the audible versions!

Improved my Work-Team Skills

This audiobook points out the differences between leadership and management. If you work in an office, you know the "leader" in your group is not always the manager. I liked that the book can be listened to as a whole, or you can listen to any chapter separately to hone the skills you want to work on. For me, it was "people skills" and "communication skills". Learning to use the "value proposition" when speaking to groups (figuring out how to answer the "why should I care?" question of your audience). Another major point in our "new" workplace: when to use the phone instead of emails or text. I also loved that the principles were demonstrated using real life examples, like Muhammed Ali and Henry Ford. I appreciated the "principles workbook exercise" in chapter 6 as well. The narrator was professional sounding and pleasant to listen to; this audiobook could be used in the workplace at team meetings. Finally, the skills would work in other group situations as well... if you are a little league baseball coach, a bible study group host, or even organizing a family reunion or group camping trip... there are endless situations where you might want to learn how to get the group to respect you and listen to you.

As a small business owner this has been invaluable. It talks about creating the right mindset to lead, as well as the need to develop yourself and not just your team. This book is great for anyone preparing for leadership or in a new leadership role.
