Easton

I’m the youngest Swift brother. The one who’s always in trouble and can’t get his life together. I wouldn’t know where to start, and ever since my twin died, I can’t bring myself to care. After my last “situation,” Dad washed his hands of me. And though my brothers should’ve done the same, they stood up for me, fracturing their relationship with him too. He’s a terrible father to all of us, but considering we’re just figuring out how to build a relationship, I don’t want them to lose him because of me.

Officer Archer Thorn won’t stop coming around either. After every screwup, every bad day, Archer’s there to offer a hand. Before I know it, we’re going to dog parks, sharing meals, and Archer seems at home hanging at my place. When he touches me, fills me, all the noise in my head goes quiet. He makes me want more, but he doesn’t know how much that terrifies me, how much I worry that getting better means breaking a promise I made years ago.

Each moment with Archer shows me how good a man he is. For the first time, I actually want to face my trauma and get over my past. Archer makes me see there’s beauty in the world and, more importantly, he makes me want some of it for myself…that is, if I don’t ruin Archer Thorn first.

Easton is a small-town, hurt/comfort romance full of heart, heat, a touch-starved MC, and brothers learning how to have a relationship with each other. It deals with themes of grief, death of a parent and a sibling, and mental-health struggles.

Swift Brothers!

I'm fascinated with the Swift Bothers! We all deal with tragedy and dark circumstances differently. This is a fictional story of one family's struggle through theirs.
The Swift Brothers story begins with Morgan ( book #1 ) ! You enter the world of Birchpark, Michigan ( locals call the UP ) where you meet the Swift family after a horrible tragic accident befalls them. What follows is the tale of 3 brothers struggling to deal with tragedy, death , poor family dynamics, and personal demons.
Easton's story, as with Morgan, is powerful, gritty, and painfully heartfelt. With compelling emotionally charged characters and a dark yet beautiful written storyline. The romance is very steamy , sexy and sure to sate your senses!
An emotional rollercoaster ride to a climatic HEA ! Gregory Salinas's verbal storytelling brings this story to life and makes the characters seem tangible and real. And the world of Birchpark life-like!

Really enjoyed

I'm a huge fan of Riley Hart, so it's no surprise she's written another wonderful series. The Swift Brothers are all emotional reads thus far and I'm very pleased that the audio version are just as emotional. The narrator is fabulous. I'm super excited for Rhett.

Heart wrenchingly good

This has become one of my favorite narrators. His sialogue and laughter feel so natural, like I'm listening in on the characters.

Easton is an emotional story dealing with a lot of grief and trauma from the loss of his twin sister at a young age and emotional abuse from his father.

Archer is so good for Easton and their love is sweet and easy. The romance and Archer's devotion to Easton balance out the mentions of grief.

Riley Hart is probably the most sensitive and conscientious author when it comes to mental health rep, and Easton is no exception. While Archer cares for and encourages Easton, never asking him to change, Riley is careful to show Easton is the one that ultimately wants to be healthier, and does his own work to get there. Archer supports him but they never feel codependent or anything but perfect for each other.

Easton is one of the best reads of my year, and one of the best acted as well!
