Enjoyable

Donuts and Disaster (Sandy Bay Cozy Mystery Book 4), my fourth read from author Amber Crewes. Well-written & enjoyable. another cute, clean cozy mystery. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Elena Marino who was absolutely outstanding. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author as I get them. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Another superb story that gives you humour mixed with mystery. It’s impossible to not get involved with the characters.

Donuts and Disaster is a wonderful cozy mystery!

Donuts and Disaster is book 4 in the Sandy Bay series and is a great addition to the series. It is a quick read and very enjoyable. Meghan owns a bakery. Her assistant Lori helps her create donuts which results in some misunderstandings. Lori's Aunt & Uncle show up and create some problems and then the Uncle is found dead. A friend of Meghan ' s is the main suspect but she knows he didn't do it. Meghan and her friends work together to figure out who did. These are pleasant cozy mysteries with likeable characters and are low-key and enjoyable. I had both the ebook and audiobook and enjoyed switching between them. Donuts and Disaster

Adding donuts to the menu could be disastrous. Especially when it causes angst between Meghan and her assistant. Add a murder to the mix and you get an entertaining cozy mystery.

Amber Crewes is doing a great job of building up her Sandy Bay location with memorable characters and interesting mysteries.

The narration by Elena Marino was well done.

Great Clean Cozy Mystery

This book is a #4;series but a great stand alone book. Meghan doesn't make donuts. Her assistant Lori does. Meghan comes up with flavors. Lori and Meghan have a disagreement, then Lori walks out. Now, Lori has inherited a tea shop. Lori is trying to sell it when her Aunt and Uncle show up and scare off the buyer. Now her Uncle is dead. The characters are believable and likable. The storyline with the twists and turns is interesting. Elana Merino does a great job maintaining your interest till the end of the book. I enjoyed this book.
