If you like power fantasy and OP character with in his tire with some spicy stuff now and than this is for you.

good story, Terrible narrator

the story was good and kept my listening; the narrator kept saying word weirdly or leaving small gaps in other word that were more complex like they where sounding them out.

As a few others have also put forth this is a good story the problem is the Narrator. Olivia Neel I hope you read this. First you read out words that should just be done by making the sound such as yawn or fu fu fu(giggling). Second are you reading a dictionary or a story? Where's the emotional inflection? Third you should really take the time to flesh out some distinctive voices for each character half the time the little girl has a deeper voice than the MC. I hope that this is one of your first narrations as I shutter to think of the books that do not get the recognition they honestly might deserve due to this kind of narration. As you have a pleasant voice I could see you getting more jobs if only you did a bit to be better.

Good Story and Good Narration, buuut…

Hopefully author and narrator reads this. This was a real good story for the first in the series. Would have liked to see more world building and gradual development of MC. Instead we have a OPMC right off the bat. Especially considering the two characters that made one were wimps. The story had much more potential. But this is all just small stuff. I don’t necessarily hate stories that have OPMCs. That said let’s move on to narration. I gave her 4 stars. She was really good and she sounds almost exactly like Sierra Kline. I had to do a double check to make sure. The reason for the 4 stars is I feel she gave a deeper voice to characters that should have been higher. Sometimes the MC had a higher voice than his wives or daughter. His daughter for sure should have had a higher upbeat kid voice than a low voice. So that’s it. If you correct that and it would be right on!

i am sure the story would great on its own but i had to stop listening, the Voice actor, appears to not be able to read english, and says words as they are spelled and not how they are spoken, VERY HARD TO LISTEN TO

poor proof reading

the story was good. But the spelling error and narrating error. Make it hard to listen to. A little quality control would go a long way. You can't just take a story from the internet and put it through text to speech and think it will be good.

Bad AI Narrator.

The AI Narrator was bad but the story was well done. I would buy the next books if it was done by an actual narrator.

Great story.. but the narration is liksomebody took Sierra Klines voice and ran it through an ai program!

great story minus the narration

The story would be decent if not for the narrator. I don't know if this is a.i. or someone who doesn't know how tone in a sentence works. when you have have someone ask a question but the narration makes the tone where you can't tell what type of sentence it is. certain words would be pronounced oddly as if they have never read such a word before. if the author wants to make the audio book worth it to fund then pick someone you can listen to.

it's a really good filler book

This book is a really good filler story for you to wast time between your really important books and I'm not saying that as a bad thing if you have listened to as many books as me then you know that every once and a while you need a story that you don't need to care about this story is a bunch of predictable plot points from start to finish and as long as you can get past the AI narration you will be fine its got good world building and the main character isn't just a another human that can now become a dragon he and the other characters act in ways that there species would again that's not to say that this book is anything other then filler for me before I go to listen to something I truly care about like primal hunter or defiance of the fall now with all that said if the second book of this series comes out I will get it I hope this was helpful and if it wasn't to bad go listen to a book that's worth me caring about wether you like it or not
