Too much action, not enough spice!

This book was just okay. There's a lot of action scenes but I personally would have liked more spicy scenes. I initially bought this book because it was under the romance category, but the romance isn't really explored. It honestly teeters the line into YA. The MFM and MMM acknowledge the chemistry between them basically just once and the rest of the time they're focused on tracking down the MacGuffin. I feel obligated to finish the series but I'll be doing so begrudgingly.

Great story!!!

I love how this adventure started, it’s absolutely perfect. It kept me wanting more the whole time. I highly recommend listening to this.

Great Duet Performance

It’s a duet and both narrators brought it to life. Each one could play each different character with different voices that truly was distinctive. Loved!

Great beginning

I really love having such a strong lead character. There are so many personalities but None of them I feel like are far fetched... which sometimes happens in this genre. I'm really looking forward to see what happens with Nova's siblings!!

Excellent book! Exceeds all expectations

I’ve been in a dry spell listening to my favorite series repeatedly as I have not been able to find anything really good that captures my interest. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and had unexpected plot twists! I absolutely loved it and am hoping the series will become a new favorite. I enjoyed the narration as well. It was easy to follow and to listen to.

Good reading I really enjoyed it listening to it good story line and narrative as well.

Unexpected

Actually came to love this a lot more than I thought I would. I love the strong, female lead/team. And when I thought one thing was happening, it was a totally different thing kinda of kept me on my toes. Oh, and the ending chefs kiss literally nothing I love more than putting a bitter old hag in her place!! overall 10 out of 10 I read this in one sitting.

It always maintained my interest

I generally listen to my audiobooks during my commute I could not wait until I could listen to more of the book. The storyline was exciting.  I am looking forward to the next book.
