Then, from out of nowhere, he crashes into me while I’m on a jog: quite literally crashes into my clumsy ass. Then again, maybe I crashed into him. I’m not sure how it went down, only that he’s a colossal jerk. I wish he wasn’t quite so gorgeous because…back to the part about him being a jerk. I’m being polite since “jerk” is too nice a word. I’m happy to see the back of him, partly because he has such a nice back, but also because he sucks big time!

Only, the gorgeous jerkface keeps turning up. I can’t seem to get rid of him. Do I even want to? Yes. No. Argh! It’s annoying. Then I find out that I’m not such a regular girl after all. Not even close. Just like that, everything changes. And I mean everything.

Scarred Wolf is a standalone shifter romance featuring a sassy heroine who has no idea who she really is and a big bad wolf who’ll help her figure things out. No, that’s not true, she’ll help him figure things out. Okay, maybe a little bit of both. Beware, this book contains super-hot, growly scenes and language that will make you blush!

twists and turns

this book shows you Revenge to lover and then regrets plot. if you haven't read or listen to this book I recommend you this I give it five stars because the narration was there the storyline was there the performance I give it 10 and if you love this book I say get the other two books because you will not regret this purchase I love everything about these this book series can't wait for the fourth one

I never review books but

I never review books but I loved this one with one exception. *spoiler alert* I could do without laser beams coming out of the eyes. it is enough to be all powerful and ass kicking, the laser beams add nothing and takes away from the hero having to struggle a little bit to fight. Other than that it was everything I wanted.

Great story!

I personally loved this simple yet fun story!! It was nice to along with them on their thoughts and journeys throughout!

Emotionally Rewarding

I was looking for a simple, enjoyable werewolf shifter story that felt like a relaxing escape—and this one checked all the boxes. The journey was fun, the pacing easy to follow, and best of all, it ends on a satisfying, beautiful note without a cliffhanger. I actually found this book because I love Vanessa Moyen as a narrator—she’s always such a joy to listen to. The main female character finds herself caught in a whirlwind of secrets that were kept from her all her life, and the main male character was originally sent to kill her out of revenge. But what unfolds instead is a heartfelt enemies-to-lovers romance that completely pulled me in. One of my favorite shifter listens when I want something light but emotionally rewarding.

Easy read Easy listen

Really enjoyed listening to this low angst light romantic story. Narrators were excellently paired to the main characters, hope they continue in the next books of the series you can’t get better than Tor Thom and Vanessa Moyen. Not much sex but story didn’t need it.

Great Storyline

This is a really good book. Storyline was interesting and totally held my attention. There was also humor sprinkled throughout; the description of personal thoughts was hilarious; not to mention beast mode. Both narrators did a great job. On to the next book in the series!

Double alpha and danger

I liked the idea of reading about something new to this genre. However, I prefer the part of the story without the wolf story. Not much is explained about why or what this new thing is. The love, loyalty and redemption redeem it enough to finish the story, but not continue the series. 16+

Duplicity

A book full of discovery and betrayal. It kind of gives off 7 years series (by Danika Dark). A wolf shifter who is unaware of their heritage until the shift happens. And the man sent to kill her is the one to help her through the change and new world she has found herself in. On top of that stress she has a witch of a boss who stupidly tries to shift blame to her and is hurting those she has unconsciously chosen as part of her pack.

Then we have Jackson. Who struggles with the mission he has been sent on and his feelings for the one person he should want dead. It's a forced proximity/enemies to lovers/fated mate kind of story, with a twist you won't see coming.

There is spice but the entire book isn't spice. It's a 3/5 on the spice scale.

And while their story comes to a conclusion, the author does set you up for the next story. A small cliffhanger you can choose to walk away from or jump off and into the next story.

Not for me …

Maybe I was expecting too much. I just didn’t care about the characters in this book. I found them to be boring and the story wasn’t very interesting either. The best part of this story was the situation going on at the nursing home. This portion of the story could have been developed to be something way better than it turned out to be. Not even the spice was worth it. This one was just not for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️
