Pretty much if it is written by Jez… it’s awesome! Narration was fantastic as always!

As always it’s AMAZING!

This man, no legend, always writes pure epic level gold and everyone he needs to go and drop some credits on this series and every other one he’s got out!

It really grips and even demands your attention!

Typically, my wife isn't interested in things like this... Even though she's a nerd herself, she says things like this are too much, but even she was glued to this book! She made me buy the entire series! We love the humor and personality of the characters, as well as the story itself. It's very captivating and engaging. Love it!

Series is pretty good

I loved the first book, and liked this book.

The main issues I have with it is that a lot of the main characters reactions are valid and throughout the entire novel everyone keeps telling him he’s wrong or emotional. I found it really obnoxious to listen to, since most of his reactions were extremely logical (like not wanting to add the hippies). Everyone kept telling him that him not wanting to add a random group of people who are extremely naive and stupid to a project that needs to be completely secretive is emotional and illogical is honestly the dumbest writing I’ve ever heard.

Along with that they act like him trying to keep the people he lives out of danger is some misogynistic ideal, when the main character is literally invincible (just about). Him adding people to his journeys who are extremely vulnerable to death just makes everything harder on him. The argument that Inga can help him is like a naive child wanting to help fix the car. They are there doing the bare minimum and likely to cause an accident.

A lot of the arguments just felt very illogical and emotional based and the main character accepted them rather then break them down and logically argue.

Absolutely Brilliant

I have no idea how Jez comes up with the things he does but man this was amazing!
I can’t wait to follow this story and see what’s in store for Steve and the crew! All the directions they are headed on now has me absolutely hooked!

Wonderfully Arisen

Steve has Arisen and out to kick ass and take names with extreme prejudice and keep us all entertained doing it.
With the skills of Cajiao and the masterful tones from Threet and Boucher this was always going to be an easy 5 stars after the showing from the 1st audio. My biggest cripe isn't the writing, the juiced up action scenes as Steve travels the world taking out criminalsand other Arisen,but the ending after only 31hrs and change.
Although the story is written to a satisfactory conclusion ,this series exludes so much potential for another 20 to add within the series that it would be criminal to stay here after such excitement was given to us.
So please hassle the author politely and tell him we want lots more as I need more of this fix.
