River wasn’t prepared to take no for an answer. Chaos and confusion had taken over my life. And to make matters worse, I found myself in the middle of a horrific child-trafficking case. Okay, to be fair, I didn’t find myself there, I’d purposefully inserted myself into the TAKEBACK investigation. And since I’d volunteered to go undercover, River did more than insert himself—he took over and declared himself my protector.

Did I mention I was madly, deeply in love with him? Did I mention he was the man of my dreams? Did I mention River thought going undercover was dangerous, crazy, and not a good idea? Turns out River was right, and just when all of my wildest dreams had come true, they were torn away, and I was left in shambles.

Great story

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook in the Takeback series by Riley Edwards. The narrators were new to me and I thought they did a good job with their performances in bringing the story and characters to life.

Great narration

Enjoyed the storyline, but wished it was a tad bit longer, but especially enjoyed the duet narration and the voice of Scott Rider. I think this is the
first time I’ve heard him. Well done.

Dangerous Rescue

I loved this. Definitely a tear jerker. Letty is a firecracker but River can handle her.

Narrators gave a fabulous performance

I love the Kent brothers. In this story, we meet River. River and Letty have known each other a long time, even though they have never met. You will fall in love with River just like Letty. Scott Rider and Michelle Sparks are the narrators. This was the first time I have heard either one. They gave a fabulous performance.

Very entertaining suspense, romance, performance

I enjoy the characters in this series.They are strong, loyal, and determined. This story has entertaining suspense and a romance that started many years ago as two strangers connected by a text message. The story and the performance are entertaining!

Good story, great characters

This story about River-and Lettie. Can’t wait to hear the story the next adventure. Reese and Sadie.

Voice Is Off

the male narrator sounded way to old for River, it was throwing me off and this is one of my favorite books by Riley Edwards

Love the Kent’s, been looking forward to this book since listening to phoenix’s book. This book had me laughing and crying. Hot sexy guy, strong woman and good hot sex.

River Kent...need I say more?

River Kent... need I say more? I thought Echo Kent had cemented first place but River, oh my heart. Yes I know, River came first but River's audio didn't come first so I fell hard for Echo before hearing the brilliance of River's story and now I'm torn between two brothers...and avoiding Phoenix's equally swoonworthyness for now. But I digress as I wish I had a Kent brother of my own. Letty dear, you are one lucky fictional woman. To have that man so dedicated to you for 14 years without hesitation? No face to face meet, but a true, deep binding of souls on the most elemental way. The emotions are raw, what else would you expect from a Riley story? The danger stressful and the suspense pulse-pounding and achingly heart wrenching at times, and the love so utterly and devastatingly amazing. Listen for yourself as Michelle Sparks and Scott Rider bring Letty and River's story to life.
