What a good listen!

This book was so good! You couldn’t help but fall for the main characters. It played on so many types of different kinds of abuse and the effects it has on all the different parties. I am hoping it continues with some of the other characters as well. I want to see how their fates work out!

I must admit, at first, I thought damn because it sounded like this was going to be too YA for me as eighteen yo Ryanne speaks of her long-time crush and love for the badboy of her small town.. with an outcast dark reputation along with his two brothers. However, that part was over very quickly as Ryanne loses her v card and gets her ‘one night only’ with Justice Creed. It’s a bitter-sweet night knowing that’s all it can ever be.. but is it? Because ‘something’ and someone shatters her world and sends Ryanne fleeing. Six years later, when a very angry Justice storms back into her life, there’s true concern, rekindled desire, combustible chemistry, guilt and remorse.. and endless sweet possibilities. And Justice is swoon-worthy as he rages, slowly simmers, calms and possessively claims what’s his in a very sexy, very heartfelt, very alpha badass way. The emotional rollercoaster that follows.. the fireworks, heat and voyeurism.. the wonderful feels coming from a sweet little girl.. the close brotherhood and fatherly bond and values of a ‘chosen’ family.. and the drama, secrets and suspense from the town’s controlling powerful villains, makes this book a very enjoyable listen. Told in dual POV by Callie and Teddy whose voice acting not only fit the characters perfectly but they also skilfully brought it all together and delivered a five star stellar performance.

Worth a credit? Yes, I really liked it.. and that cover is SOOOOO Justice 🥰🪭😉.

Awesome

This was such a an awesome story , and it was going so well till she went to see Gwen . What a stupid move even after she promised Justice she wouldn't go anywhere without him . This kinda messed it up for me . To do something so stupid changed me from enjoying this book and liking her to being disappointed and wanting to stop listening. How STUPID !

I'm hoping book 2 doesn't have stupid in it.

Female narrator ruined it for me

When you have Teddy Hamilton as the male narrator (with the sexiest voice ever), WHY would the robotic, nasally, female narrator cover all of the sexy chapters? Huge fail.

I liked the book, characters, storyline. I don’t think I can listen to book two though. Even though I’m dying to hear Braxton’s story.

This is a must

This is an amazing I was quickly hooked on this book right. From the series, it starts off amazing. It was so hard to put it down. I literally couldn't. This is my first book from this author and it definitely will not be my last. I cannot wait for the next sport to come out. Between the righting and the narrators this is gonna be on my favorite list.

WOW!!!!!

I seriously can't even think of words. They'd all be great words but none do this book justice. (See what I did there?) I listened to this on Audible and the narrators were great, too. This will definitely be a repeat.

Dark & dangerous

A strong start to a series. The beginning is a little tough to get through because it gives some of the backstory of the Creed brothers but once we jump to the present it gets easier. I already have the next book in the series ready to go.

Brother relationship

The threesome with brothers turned me off on this story. Disappointing because I love this author .
