The Story Moves Forward
This is a solid addition to the series. There wasn’t a lot of character development, but the overarching story moves another step forward. While I think the narrator is decent, the male voices are never great. This is the kind of series that would benefit from both a male and female narrator.

Very Exciting Plot
AML writes multiple books a month but the quality actually increases rather than the opposite which would be much more typical. This book has complex creatures that I kind of feel sorry for-which is part of the solid writing of the story. Scout is still a bit OCD, but she holds it in check pretty well. I always love the Winchesters too. A+

Another winner
Scout and Gunner are some of my favorites. Add in the Winchester’s and Evan and how can it be bad? It is never. Great build to the next story.

Nice installment even if lead whined a lot.
No spoilers: I’m a fan of Scout and her crew. I enjoy the installments to the story but there was a lot of focus on self doubt that was unbecoming. I do felt she grew a lot by the end of the book and I look forward to the next one.
