Completing Your Endowment is the third and concluding volume in a series on the LDS temple ordinances. Beginning with Preparing For Your Endowment and continuing in Understanding Your Endowment, this work is aimed at helping members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) better understand their temple ceremonies.

Joseph Smith taught that knowledge is the power of salvation. With that in mind, one might wonder: What was the purpose for introducing temple ordinances to the Church? Are they simply arcane rituals to be memorized? Do they have some inherent magic necessary for redemption? Or are they rather intended to help the Saints gain knowledge, particularly knowledge which saves? And if imparting knowledge is their purpose, then what is the Lord trying to teach us? Once we have received the ordinances is that enough or is more required to complete our endowment?

This book is an attempt to help the listener answer these questions. It is written in the hope that it will enable the listener to approach the temple with new eyes.

Very informative for endowed members

I appreciated the insights provided. Learning is a slow process like repenting. As much as I would like to be progressed spiritually to this level it is a slow process done line upon line with here a little and there a little.

One of the best books outside the scriptures and teachings of modern prophets on how to personally know the Lord

Outside the scriptures and the teachings of modern prophets, I believe this is one of the best books along with the other two on how to get to know God and have experiences with him unlike any other, ultimately leading to being returned to his presence. It powerfully shows how scriptural figures such as Moses, Nephi, Isaiah, etc. had the kind of miraculous experiences they had and how we can follow that path back to Christ. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for more in their spiritual life or feel they have plateaued and are unsure of how to progress. Thank-you Cory Jensen for sharing these powerful concepts with us!

A rare book of truth and sensitivity

It is not often that you I have a chance to experience a book of this depth and sensitivity about such a holy subject. I knew Cory, having just met him a few times while serving in the temple in American Fork Utah. He is humble, meek, and handles this topic very well.

Brother Jensen clearly enunciates this doctrine, for those who have ears to hear, and hearts open to receive more truth.
