A Must for All Latter-day Saints!

Fantastic book. The only thing I would object to is at the very beginning the author says something akin to: some of the parts of the Endowment ceremony copies or was influenced by Masonry. This is actually not true. In fact in the remainder of the book the author inherently makes the case for this not being true, as the endowment ceremony existed way before Masonry. Another point to consider is that these ceremony rituals were revealed to Joseph prior to his experience with Masonry. (I’m personally of the opinion that Masonry, generally speaking, is a good & worthy organization which happens to also have a few within who use it for nefarious purposes. And that is true of almost all organizations on some level. We cannot throw out the baby with the bath water & must be wise when considering the fruits of people, governments & organizations.

This book was enlightening. I knew some of the info prior to reading. But some I had never known or considered. I loved learning through the Spirit’s whispering to me as I listened too. I’d highly recommend this book. It sticks closely to scripture, prophets, and the teachings of Christ. Definitely earned the 5 stars!

I actually did enjoy learning about all the historical context in the different ceremonies that were done anciently. I have probably attended the temple close to a thousand times and if you include the baptistry with my children that number is probably another 400. Though there's quite a bit I still do not understand there's also incredible blessing and miracles that's my family has received from attending frequently. This was certainly helpful and understanding some of the basis behind the ceremony.

Very relatable questions and some answers

Great work to help show connections to the modern day Temple and modern Day temple ceremonies and how they align with principles recorded in the Old Testament. If you’re like me, you probably have many questions, this book certainly won’t answer all of them, but it will put you on the path which will lead to more answers.
