Odd pronunciations

I love this story and the narrator did a great job overall. However, it’s jarring to hear words pronounced oddly. Every time I heard her say “against” or “warm”, I cringed.

My 12 year old daughter read the book, so I did too. we both loved it and it is great to talk to her about it.

Fascinating story. Captivating narrator. Favorite Audible purchase— hands down.

I’ve read the Hunger Games trilogy several times, but when I saw that Tatiana Maslany was the narrator, I knew that I had to OWN the audiobooks for these titles. I mean, I witnessed this actor portray several different, complex characters in “Orphan Black,” so I knew she’d be great. What I didn’t expect, however, was to be so captivated that I’d choose listening to her narrate over listening to my favorite playlist on the 8 hour bus ride from NYC back to VA, over watching my favorite tv shows on the weekend, over rereading the books for myself. I didn’t expect my family to join in as I listened, for them to ask me what was going on in the story and to hush me if I talked too long over Tatiana’s voice(s). With the exception of Kevin Hart’s masterful reading of his autobiography, my kids usually BEG me to turn off my audiobooks as soon as they get in the car. However, when I picked up my daughter and her friend from high school yesterday, they sat and listened, wide-eyed, as they ate Wendy’s in the backseat. If THAT doesn’t prove that you need to purchase this audiobook, I don’t know what will! 😂 #teenagerapproved✅

She reenacts the story in such a Dynamic quality. She feelskatniss in the most exquisite fashion. So much better than the movies. Thank you.

I loved this book so much and the voices math. the characters very well. the hunger games series is one of my favorites.

I have read the series and enjoyed it. However, Tatiana Maslany’s narration is exceptional. Highly recommend fans try a listen!
