Great read

I didn’t realize that I’ve already read this book and I have to say, it’s a nice re visit. I felt the same as before, love me some strong heroine but sometimes they forgot to be smart. Lol sometimes I just want to slap her and make some sense out her. As for the hero, love me some alpha but he’s a bit much. All in all it’s a great read. Lacy and Antonio did an amazing job at narrating

Best as bundle

This is a bit over the top but it works just go with it. It’s definitely best enjoyed as a bundle since they end it little cliffhangers and pick up right where it’s left off. It’s a crazy world built with great characters and a good storyline. Narration is a bit much at times but overall well done.

Skip the narration and read the ebook

Narration review- I didn’t like either narrator, but I felt that the male voice was better than the female voice. The female was hard to understand and I found her voice annoying in pitch, tone, and quality. Her portion of the recording sounded like it was recorded on faulty equipment. This made the audiobook hard to listen to.

Story review- this was good. I liked the idea of a modern retelling of the King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table story, set in an MC. And the old story translates to modern day pretty well, although some of the elements are a little too on the nose: the main character’s name is “King” Arthur. Not very subtle. But the book is entertaining, and it’s great that the three stories are collected together in one volume. Could it have been trimmed down to two stories? Absolutely. However, all three were enjoyable.

My advice is to skip the audio and read the ebook. I read the ebook after I listened to the audiobook and I caught a lot of bits I missed when the narration was hard to understand or irritating.

A Great MC Romance

This series is fast paced, action packed and addicting. I loved King and Imani. These two definitely brought the steam and I loved their witty banter. Each part of their story was filled with danger, laughs and love. I was pulled in from start to finish.
Lacy Laurel and Antonio Turner were great. They did an amazing job of adding the emotions to the story as they brought Imani and King to life.

King is definitely a badass and loves Queen 👑 the way I wish I could be loved. But Imani is a woman that doesn't need protection. She was raised by a father or should I say father's, who taught her well. There is so much to know in this book 📖. You're going to have to read it to experience all the juicy things going on!!!😍😭💗

A Trilogy Worth Reading / Listening To

4.5 stars - Imani "Queen" and Adonis "King" Arthur are fantastic! I didn't realize this was a trilogy, but what a trilogy it is.

I foresee me revisiting this series. It's rough, sweet, harsh, demanding, loving, crazy, and good. Really good. Plus, there are some unexpectedly funny and witty moments that are perfect.

I received an author's copy of this audio book collection. The narrators are Lacy Laurel and Antonio Turner. I know I've listened to Lacy before, her voice is easily recognizable, but I'm unsure about Antonio. Either way, I really liked both.

Individually, each book ranked a 3.5 on the star-scale from me, however as a whole, I’d actually give the trilogy 4 stars. It’s well-designed, very satisfying as a set and manages to pack it all: heat, humor, danger, suspense, club life and so much more. Based on this, (my first experience with this author) I would absolutely read more from him.

Trilogy overall: 4 stars.
Narrators: 4 stars.

This was a quick, hot read which served to introduce me to the club, the world and effectively got me attached to the leads.

<b>Book 2: King’s Conquest</b>

Another fast-paced installment of this series. There’s a bit of getting to know key players better and lots of action and danger mixed in. Absolutely NEEDED book 3 after this one.

<b>Book 3: King’s Legacy</b>

Another quick read and at this point, exactly what was needed for this series. Very neatly wrapped up, but no less hot or dangerous.

🟡 Family drama/ rivalry / betrayal.
🏍 Couple-bickering.
🟡 Lots of steam.
🏍 Great character growth.

Overall: 3.5 stars.

Great narration

I really enjoyed the narration. The narrators did a great job of voice acting. The sound was consistent with no distracting background noises, and I found their voices pleasant to listen to.

I really love book 1. It is a good introduction to the series, and I was easily hooked. All of the books had good detail, and I enjoyed the characters. After book 1, I slowly lost interest. I don't have any triggers, but there are specific Tropes I do not like to read and book 2 touches on it, and book 3 has it throughout. It took this series being an amazing story for me to eh, never mind, this really wasn't for me, and that's ok. Not every book will be. It was well written, and I would still recommend it for readers on MC.

My heat rating is based on the amount of occurrence, length of scenes, how explicit the scenes are, and how filthy/unconventional the scenes are. This is about 3/5 consistently through the 3 books.

Camelot Misfits MC

King's Return is the first book in the Camelot Misfits MC series. This book is told from dual points of view from King and Imani.

King is back to his MC after being gone for 10 long years. They have a party, which is where he meets Imani. Imani's friend begs her to come to this party with her. She meets the mysterious King and feelings start to develop between the two.

Something happens to Ionis, and King does what he can to protect her.

King's Conquest is the second book and starts off right where book one ends. While King is trying to protect Imani, he decides that she belongs to him, and she is now his old lady. Imani is still learning all of the ropes about being a part of his club.

King's Legacy is the third and final book in the series and picks up right where book two ends. King and Imani are still working on their relationship and the bond is growing. Imani has learned some secrets from her past and is trying to come to terms.

With everything that they have been through, can they get their happy ending?

A beautiful love story

i was pleasantly surprised by this book. Off to listen to Wiz's story next.
