Quick and efficent

I liked how brief this was but it still gave a great starter list fo what to consider. I would love some additional versions with even more details, but this was great to understand the basics of what is needed, how to organize it, how often to train or retrain on certain necessary skills, and even how to help manage bugging out with a family. I didn't get bogged down at any point with missing the relevance for me and my husband.

Probably ranks in the middle somewhere, because it's not a story, but a book of information only.

The fact that if I tried to do this on my own, I would've forgotten quite a few "essentials" ... such as T.P.!

Short, sweet & to the point

Excellent short book, full of very useful, pertinent information. The reader has a voice easy to listen to and he speaks at just the right pace- slow enough to really hear and understand what he is saying without being so slow that it’s irritating.

The information is very useful and he recaps each section with a list of what items he just talked about. I will be listening to this again as I review & organize my bug out bags.

Simple specific and just what you need.

I read many of these books on bug out bags and preparation and found that this book is although very basic it does provide a simple look at an approach of preparing ones self and his family to be ready to bug out in an event appropriate for its use. Great book for the first time of prepping without really deep focused explanations of many many different skills and supplies or products but covers s good general terms easy to understand to get the job done. Overall I liked it and learned a few things. Good luck.
