The Beast has awakened.

It's usually an ex-special forces guy with big muscles and even bigger balls, and a knack for sorting out petty squabbles between the witches and vampires and shifters in the city. And I'm just a technically dead nail tech—an animated skeleton with a talent for illusion magic and gold gel manicures. But I've recently discovered that I can manifest some pretty big muscles of my own. I've already got the big balls, so I'm halfway there.

Broke Bones is a well written and well developed book. The characters are engaging and the plot is fast paced and interesting. I look forward to the next book.

The end blew my mind! It's rare for me to be that surprised. the entire book has me frustrated to find out what was happening next, and then the end came. I rarely review but this entire series has me pressing the BUY NOW button

awesome series
series just gets better & better. this is the 2nd series I'm listening to by this author & in both series, each bk gets better!! I'm just happy the series r finished & I don't have to wait for the next bk to come out, bc dang the ending is so good it would've drove me nuts to have to wait! I'm starting bk 5 now only 1 more to go then series is over. that's a bummer! love the characters & the narrator is absolutely perfect! everything about this & the Imogen grey series is awesome. we even get to hear from a couple of imogen characters, even if only briefly. listen to imogen series 1st. u won't be disappointed in either series!!! well done!
