😍 I'M IN LOVE
Glad I listened to this because it is all around CHEF'S KISS. 🤌🏻😍 The FMC wasn't a whiny bum, but someone who got stuff DONE. Do not mess with her! Also the MMC is a heartthrob and my new book bf. All the characters supported the story well and I'm just as in love with them, as I am with the mains. Just the right amount of steam for me, too. Cannot wait for the next book!

Amazing book, mediocre editing/narration
Ok, let me start by saying I listen to a LOT of audiobooks. I LOVE this series. The books themselves are amazing. This narration left a lot to be desired. This is the second book I’ve listened to with Tor and, admittedly, I really dislike his style of narration. I was hoping it was a one-off, but disappointingly, it wasn’t. His sentence cadences are all the exact same but it’s really choppy and awkward to listen to, almost an unnatural way of reading. Stella’s narration is fine, but the editing on the audio is awful. Some sentences end with long pauses before the start of the next, and there is at LEAST one very audible swallow in the recording of one of Stella’s chapters. Ali’s books are incredible, so this is a really disappointing purchase for me.

Narrators Not complimentary
Still in the middle of the book but the male narrator throws everything off. There is no personality....its like he is just reading not living the part. Its giving Virtual Voice as opposed to a living feeling being. Its irritating.
