Amazing!!

This audiobook is AMAZING!! The performance by both narrators was fabulous! Their voices were perfectly casted for these characters!! I was absolutely absorbed into this audiobook and couldn’t stop listening!

I love the back and forth between the FMC and MMC POV.

I wished that the male narrator voiced the male characters through the whole book. Same with the female narrator.

I'm so glad I listen both these books. at one point I had tears for wolf...

Weak heroine

For a supposedly badass vampire killer she complained an awful lot and had a defeatist attitude about nearly everything. I couldn’t understand the nearly constant state of denial and how anyone could fall immediately in love with someone angry all the time

The only way this could have been better would be if it was in duet. They both did an incredible job. Absolutely love the story. I absolutely loved the characters their friends, the kingdoms. I wish I could read the series over again for the first time.

Got me out of my onyx storm slump

Interesting story, kept me hooked. Was it the best writing ever…. No…. BUT IDC! I love fantasy books as long as they aren’t insanely cringey I’m good and this was pretty good. You can sorta predict some things but the whole series kept me gasping and wanting to punch the mmm because CAN U STOP MAKING HER NOT TRUST YOU???? Overall a good read and i enjoyed it and would love to try more by this author!

did not finish

I have tried and tried to finish this book. story itself is good. The main female character is driving me crazy. she's all over the place. access if she doesn't know what's going on when she does. maybe I'll go back and finish this but I can't I only have 3 hours left too.

Disappointed

Book 1 was ok so I gave book 2 chance and this is probably the most boring fantasy book I have ever listen/read. Nothing happened until the end! The buildup surrounding the secrets and the main plot led me to believe there will be a big boom! Towards the end of the buildup.

There was too much monologue, so much talk about the secrets and stuff for nothing big to happen. The end felt rushed, I felt like more could have been done.
