Audio heaven

The narration of this book is perfection.

Piper is put through the emotional ringer in this book. She is full of guilt, anger, and regret. She is full of longing for what she knows she can’t have and that blinds her to what she has in front of her for some of this book. It’s a storyline of growth and it’s raw. The narration matches that perfectly.

I’m interested to read book two and listen to it once the audio releases. I was left with many questions. What is going on with Bri? Part of me wants to dislike her, but another part is asking if her actions are her own. The new character at the end has me wondering what will happen next. Ronan is supposed to be this mega powerful being. He is the Harvester and it is mentioned over and over how easily he can annihilate someone so I’m confused as to how he and Piper are continually put into such precarious positions. Pipers new development and the end of this book was surprising and I am interested in reading how her new knowledge impacts her actions when faced with this new threat.

I absolutely loved the growth and changes Piper made for the better as she dealt with shock, heartache and a city on the brink of war.
Kel has crafted a story that will draw you in and have you falling in love with her dark and dangerous characters.
The Narrators brought the story to life as they sank deeper into their rolls in this book. You won’t want to miss a single word.

this one is an emotional rollercoaster that just is so amazing written and narrated that just wow what a book. With the way it left off I need the next book soon.

Plot building book

This book showed much growth in Pipers character. It was a lot of character development and not much action in this story, which was okay because we learn a lot about Bre, Hell, Ronan. The seeds of what's to come are planted everywhere if you are paying attention. I can't wait to find out if my hunches are correct. I can see the chess pieces slowly moving into place to give a brighter future to new Chicago...one day.

Bahhhhhhhh, quite ready for the next book.

Aftter the way book 2 ended, things definitely changed in this one especially with Piper. Feeling the immense guilt, we go through the motions of her and how she chooses to deal with it. And Ronan steps in and whoooo, we got a bit more between them than I anticipated. Can I just say how much I enjoyed hearing more of his POV? Yeahhhh, I'm all about it.

SO yeah, great addition to this series. Lots of growth and seeing another side of some characters was a major win. But that cliffhanger ending can gooooo. I need to know what happens!

Absolutely solid choices for the narrators, they definitely brought more life into Piper and Ronan's story.

Fantastic story, I need more!

The story continues with Piper, Nat, and Ronan. I love them all. We get a lot of things going on, we finally get some revelations and there were twists and turns, and the steam went up, the emotional side got me in this one. Needless to say, I was left hanging again, and now more confused with everything, I really need the next one asap!
