Things are heating up in the Black Hamptons, an affluent vacation community of African Americans nestled in Long Island, New York. The families are facing trials and tribulations both individually and collectively, and everyone has a lot at stake.

The Brittons are shocked by the return of Moses, the patriarch of the family. While he’s eager to reunite with his wife and sons, it may be difficult, especially since his wife, Carolyn, has found comfort in the arms of another man. There’s no time to welcome him home, especially with grandson Jesse in the hospital after he is assaulted by Peter Lane.

Anthony Johnson is trying his best to get back into his wife’s good graces after nearly losing their company and everything they worked to build. His efforts may cost him more than he bargained for. Little does he know, Sydney has drama of her own to conceal when a secret from her past shows up in the backyard.

Moses’ return has Jeffrey Bowen busier than ever, leaving no time for his wife, Leslie. Luckily, Aries Cora has plenty of time to keep her company.

Sgt. Lane’s world is turned upside down, and his only goal is to keep his son out of jail. The choice in doing so may be accepting help from the one person he despises: Bobby “the Beast” Boyd, Middleweight Boxing Champion. Bobby is more than willing to come to the rescue, but Sgt. Lane knows it will come with a price he doesn’t want to pay.

The entire community must put aside their differences and come together to fight a common enemy that threatens to destroy the land and legacy of the Black Hamptons.

I like the story

disappointed I felt like it bought a old book being that I watch it on TV and there is nothing different.

delightful

this book kept you on the edge of your seat it had your mind racing and it gave you so many characters to love it was a great read

Intriguing

I like the twist and turns and the addition of new characters. Can’t wait for the next installment.

To Short

Love the story but book to short after trying to get all the story lines in after waiting for over a year now have to wait probably another year for a 3rd and 4th book. Carl give us longer a story next time, trying to get every character story in need a longer book

Amazing

I’m so ready for part 3! Book was amazing. Sidney worked my nerves so loud and wrong.

The Return of Moses Britton

Overall, this was a good listen. The story picks up where Black Hampton’s 1 left off with Jamal being beat up by Peter and Moses Britton’s return. The story follows these events as well as someone trying to buy up homes in the Black Hamptons.

I enjoyed the story but would have liked more of a focus on Moses and his return and his handling of his businesses. There seemed to be some inconsistencies in some of the storylines.

The ending was completely unexpected and creates a cliffhanger that could lead to Black Hamptons 3.

AMAZING!

Love this story line and the character development. I’m 30 and have been a big fan of Carl Weber since I was 14. Never fails to amaze me. Shout out to La Jill Hunt her pen is lethal 🙏🏾

Never disappoints

I have been waiting for this for so long. I almost asked Mr. Weber about it at a book signing, but I was too scared 😂😂 this book is everything! He and Ms. Hunt did their thing, as usual. I was so mad when it ended ughhh lol
His books always bring together my favorite narrators. This group always does an amazing job of bringing the story to life. Wonderful job! Now I’m itching for the next one

Good but not finished

Great story but left unfinished. The book didn’t end at a stoppable point. Just in the middle

Had high hopes but was disappointed

Male narrator voice was terrible. Story did not pick up and keep me going like the first book did. This book was terrible
