Great listen! Need book 4

This was actually a really great listen with relatable characters and good story line. Need a book 4. Left a lot of unfinished loose ends that need to be tied up! Overall, I enjoyed the books.

Great take on apocalyptic writing.

Good series of books, well put together with very plausible stories and action. Perfect thing to listen to and loose myself in another world.

Disappointing ending!

Good story but it Seems like there should have been another book. It leaves you hanging. Very disappointing ending!

I see that the 3rd book was published a few years ago. I hope there are more coming. love the narrator too.

a mixed bag

I originally picked up this book because it wasn't the typical EMP disaster book which has become rather commonplace in this genre. . .
there was quite a bit of action which I enjoyed however it was interlaced with an awful lot of fluff. honestly you could have put all the good stuff into one book and called it quits. Instead This Book leaves you with yet another (fourth) book.

I likes the rhythm of the narrator

I love all William Allen's books . This was my first time listening to a series.

Okay Audible... Record Book 4

Didn't expect to enjoy this series as much as I have. I've been listening as part of the Plus Catalog but I'll likely add these as permanent titles in my library so that I can easily relisten. They need to go ahead and record One More Sunrise so we can have that in the collection and finish the series.

Its nice to have a preparedness plot that is so well thought out but lacking the propaganda and typical culture war fearmongering of the standard apocalyptic tale. There was one joke about the zombie apocalypse and untested vaccines but that was the extent of the ridiculousness that's usually sprinkled throughout these books like I dose my pizza with parmesan.

Highly entertaining.

Note: I read the next installment. Felt rushed and lacked something. Also, in the epilogue, they go through a laundry list of buzzword propaganda like he was ticking off a checklist of things he needed to get worked into his story in order to fit in with the crowd. It was both disappointing and senseless.
