A hidden gem for learning intermediate Italian.

Due to the personal recommendation by the author, I found this wonderful resource for learning Italian at the intermediate level. The native language narrators are top notch and the material is just what I needed to increase my vocabulary and understanding. In fact, this is really three books in one:

1) A dozen short stories are included in the accompanying PDF guide in order to increase your vocabulary and reading comprehension.

2) There is a great concise grammar guide to explain how to structure sentences in Italian. Finally I understand how to use direct and indirect personal pronouns in Italian.

3) The main narrative covers a lot of useful words and expressions missed in Pimsleur Italian (I listened to all 5 levels). Like Pimsleur, the material is repeated at precise intervals in order to automatically memorize the material.

If you are like me, and are a serious student of Italian, this fantastic audiobook should really help you achieve your goal if achieving fluency in Italian.

For at least intermediate students of Italian

Very good supplement to your studies of the italian language. I spend quite a bit of time in my car for work related travel. Most of my language study is done with audio. I enjoyed this very much and hope he expands this series.

Very helpful

I repeatedly listen to this at night. I have found it to be a great review of language basics (upper beginner/lower intermediate) as well as straightforward clarification of some areas that can seem complex. Nice voice and easy-going attitude make it a pleasant listen and less intimidating. There are not many resources for the intermediate level. I think this is an excellent option. Advanced learners would find this a good overall review. Highly recommend.
