Law and Order… and the other kind of Os
Not sure why this isn’t labeled as such, but this story is part of the Devil’s Rock series and falls between book 3 (Fury on Fire) and 4 (Beautiful Sinner). The first three focus on three brothers who served time. The next two follow the Walsh family, starting with Piper Walsh. This should be considered book 3.5 and can be heard as a standalone, but it also sets up book 4’s story for Piper’s brother, Cruz.
I love me a man in uniform, especially when he’s got a bit of a dom streak, so Hale’s in-control, buttoned up lawman character made up for Piper’s stripper with a heart of gold backstory. I still had to hold my nose a bit in the first half, when the sexy times happen in the back room of the club, but the second half got into a more traditional protector romance.

Awesome series
This was one of the best reads. Romantic sizzling hot with a heart wrenching story. This was one of those books you will listen to over and over again. The narration was awesome as well. What a treasure to find. Good job Sophie Jordan!!!! Great job Christian Fox!!!!!!
