Wowzers

This was such a wonderful story. I will say that everyone should read the trigger warnings. That being said, once you really get to know Jonah and Roman and how their love builds each other up, you really feel for them. You’ll laugh, cry, and root for them the whole book! Please listen to it. The narrators do such an amazing jobs bringing these characters to life. And the author is a master. So, again, read this book. You’ll regret it if you don’t. :)

I wanted more!!!

There are definitely some HARD triggers in the story line, so buyer beware!
I don’t generally buy into the “happily ever after” fairy tale…..but honestly, after everything Jonah and Roman went through….I just wasn’t ready for their story to end!

Bully King

This is a MM bully romance. I suggest some to check the trigger warnings. Roman is the star quarterback in the south. Jonah and his family are new in town. Jonah’s father is the new pastor. The town is very southern and religious. They do not take kindly to gays. This book was a little hard to get into. I felt like Roman should have had to work harder for Jonah’s love and forgiveness. Tim Paige and Liam Di Cosimo did a great job narrating this book.

That was…. Interesting. The story was a little all over the place but the narrators did great.

This is my review for the audiobook.

This is my first m/m read from Andi Jaxon.
Jonah is the son of a preacher from he South. He feels guilty for being gay a,d being in the South not a lot of people are accepting. Roman is considered to be Football royalty. Roman too has secrets and will do anything to keep it at that.

He bullies Jonah into doing things to keep their secrets. But how far will the secrets be hidden?

I got a little confused with some of the characters being read aloud, I thought they were some else. But this was an interesting story.

Good, but...

Good story, but missing a very important chapter and one chapter is repeated. Also, some repeating of text. Excellent narration.

The whole town is abusive

This is kinda stupid the whole twon is abusive and pathetic and if it really existed to this extence it needs to be terminated or exterminated whichever is the most painful...his sister is the worst of all and the MLs are both pathetic 🙄 I've read almost all of this authors books and this one is the only I regret...

Well, it was good, but

The story was good, but two things bothered me. The sex scenes were graphic and interesting but in a book where there is so much hate and violence adding rough sex to the story seemed to only feed that behavior into the next generation. It was the choking part that turned me off. I would have kicked Roman to the curb for that, no matter how minor it may have been. The second thing was the ending, and I have this issue with many of the gay romance books. It felt incomplete and only a minor HEA, maybe. Please authors give us more desert at the end of the meal, not just a crappy epilog. (Unless you are going for a sequel and make that known upfront).
But am i glad I read it? YES.

WHAT AN IMPACTFUL AND HEART RACING STORY

This is an amazing story. Unfortunately probably more real to some than we would like to admit. It hurts my heart how in some areas of the world, including here in the US, men and women deal with issues such as these daily!

Roman and Jonah are such an incredible couple. They burn up the pages on here! The character growth is spectacular. You can literally feel their growing attraction and bonding!

I love these two with everything. I wonder if Andi is writing or has written one for Taylor. I love all these guys with my whole heart!

Be ready with tissues for this one! It’s a tear jerker, a heart racer and give you warm and fuzzy feelings at parts! Just please pay attention to your TW!
