Good guys vs bad guys surrounded by Alaska!

Nonstop action curated by a lifetime of experience by author Marc Cameron. I waited impatiently a long time for this latest book and was not disappointed. The detailed descriptions of everything Alaska and everything law-enforcement sandwiched by individual personalities and Family is always knocked out of the park for a bases loaded grand slam. Never disappointed, and always looking forward to the next great read. Highly recommended!

Believable, immersive, visceral !

Mr. Cameron takes us into bush Alaska and intros us to some of the worst and best of mankind. He draws on his load of experience, humor and obvious love of writing, and he always makes me wonder “what the HECK would I DO in Cutters situation??
Perfect match of book to reader- David Chandler is perfecto!

Closure

Good to see they didn't keep dragging Ethans mystery out and solved it! love all the characters and their development!

The Internal Strength of Marshal Cutter.

The story started off very slowly and then took it’s time building to a great climax .

Plots getting Richer

The author planted future plot points in his first few novels and resolves those important plot points in "Bad River". An excellent read. I am a big Arliss Cutter fan.

Great story with strong characters

Love the story continuation and progress for the characters. Also the power of family and doing whatever it takes to save a dear friend. Great narrator.

Too much Grumpy

I have enjoyed listening to this series, however like other reviewers have commented there is too much Grumpy. Why not write a prequel outlining Grumpy’s life and leave it like that. Grumpy’s perfection only makes the characters look inferior.

Finally

Yes- this book brought conclusion to Ethan’s death.

I just hope this isn’t the end of the series. I really like Arliss Cutter and his partner.

Great storyline characters and narrator! Hopefully there are more great stories in this series! Arliss Cutter a hero for the ages!

Cutter story evolving

This read answered or tied together some lingering unanswered questions concerning Arliss brother Ethan’s death and his on going evolving relationship with Mimm. And of course….also includes a lot of cool action scenes along with vivid descriptions of the Alaskan terrain. Also ends with an interesting teaser.
