glad I listen to this one

Narrator's did a great job. The story line emotion and sexy. I could not stop listening. This book has a new approach with the story line that was refreshing. Glad I took a chance on it.

FLOVED IT!!!!

Holy cripes! That was totally unexpected! I listened to this book.... a new to me author..... out of no where I had Aiden Snow growling sexy words in my ear.... I was NOT prepared for that! And the tears this book pulled from me are insane! Callie was so freaking awesome! I totally felt everything she had to give. All Of It! And there was a "take care" moment in this book that had me ready to throw my phone! I am still in complete awe! I need to process this before I will be able to move on to another book! This story was EVERYTHING! And despite it being over... I am NOT ready to let them go yet!!! FLOVED IT!

She’s insane!

I’m sorry. I understand she was grieving. But she gave the first steps with him. She stomped on his heart time and time again without considering it. I hate when someone who’s grieving keeps saying “oh you don’t know what I’m feeling you never lose anyone you loved!” Her actions wore terrible! At the same time she says I donated his clothes she doesn’t want to move on ! And don’t understand why he wants his heart to continue to be hurt… no I suffered in this book for him and not at all for her. Her actions destroyed this love story for me

Wow I really loved this story.
Calli is a young widow that can not get past the death of her husband.
Life sucks for her but after a momentous decision she enlists The Baby Maker to help her achieve what she thinks she wants most in the world.
This is how Keegan and Calli meet and how this story takes us on a roller coaster of emotions as they navigate the attraction brewing between themselves.
Will Calli destroy what they have together before it really gets started?
Or will Keegan walk away to save himself from further hurt?
A fantastic story with great characters also emotional and funny at times.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Aiden Snow and Isabella Clarke who did a fantastic job.

A beautiful story!!!

This book was such a surprise, I'm not sure what I was expecting but I am so grateful I was able to read / listen to this story. Baby Maker is full of angst and I do mean full of it but it doesn't get old or to much it actually makes this story so much more amazing. I will say that angst caused me to cry some buckets of tears but again so worth it.

Calliope and Keegan are so hot together, the chemistry and heat I felt from these two was so strong. Keegan starts off as this cocky bachelor who is against marriage and babies for himself but with Calliope in his life he quickly becomes such a sweetie and wears his heart on his sleeve. Calliope is still grieving the death of her husband but is finally starting to get her life going after 2 years of mourning. She goes to see Keegan, who is called the Baby Maker because of his field of expertise as an Endocrinology Obstetrician and has such success in helping women get pregnant. Calliope has decided she wants to get pregnant with her deceased husband's baby but after 3 previous miscarriages she needs to find out why she can't seem to carry a baby to term. Keegan and Calliope begin a whirlwind romance with Calliope putting the baby idea on hold until she figures out what she wants with Keegan.

Baby Maker has such a heartwarming story that really hits you with all the feels and if your anything like me really gets the tears flowing, it's also full of fun, drama, lots of hot sexy times, grief in several different forms and a truly wonderful storyline that keeps you addicted to this book and unable to stop reading / listening from beginning to end!!! This a book that I definitely will read again and again.

I listened to the audiobook and both narrator's, Isabella Clark & Aiden Snow, did a wonderful job at portraying their characters and the British accent for Calliope was perfect. I look forward to listening to more books read by these two.

My Thoughts...

Based on the excerpt, I anticipated there would be some sad moments in this book but it was a little more depressing than I bargained for. Overall, it was a sweet story with a beautiful HEA. Calli is at times a bit too self-absorbed and whiny for my taste but I did feel for her after the loss of her husband. I liked Keegan more until he lost his backbone...where did his fight go?!! Good narration overall. The female narrator has a great voice BUT her male voice is more feminine/softer than her regular voice and that really bothered me and made it somewhat difficult to decipher which character was speaking. Aidan Snow did a fantastic job narrating as always. Solid 3 star story. Recommend? For just a couple bucks with whisper-sync...yes! Just maybe not when you’re feeling down or in the mood for something light-hearted!

Calliope has come up in many of the books in this world, and I was waiting for her story to pop up. it was well done, and fairly emotional, even with some triggers for some people, I'm sure. I liked her book, but it didn't grab me as much as others have. There was a good amount of crossover with Simon as he was connected to both in our couple, and I loved seeing them again. What I didn't love was Calliope's attachment to Nigel. I understand it, but didn't like it. But it did make for what I assume is a realistic story. I listed to the audiobook, and liked the male parts, but there wasn't enough differential with the Callie part voices - everyone still had an English accent, and it was hard to tell who was supposed to be speaking.
