I loved this story! It was my favorite story that 8 have ever seen on audible! 😊

Thomas E Fuller at his best

A creative liberty taken by having the interview take place in 1946. Given that Lovecraft died in 1937. Although it makes better sense with the change historically and makes it more enjoyable and possibly relatable.

Every Character overflows with life and motivation. You can feel the tension and fear in the voices as things go wrong. The horror when things get worse is stiff with ample shock value. The insanity and sadness of it's ending left me with a strong sense of grief for the surviving characters. Very well written for audio and stayed true to the souce material save for the above liberty taken. Excellent performance of the actors and sound mixers. Thomas E Fuller was brilliant in his day. This particular recording lights a fire of interest in his other work.

performance was great

Lovecrafts writing style is hard to follow sometimes because he discribes all the scary stuff with third person conversations, but this dramatazation sets a wonderful stage and was really fun to listen to. If you like Lovecraft you will like this story, the recording was fantastic, complete with sound FX and multiple actors.

Mountains of Madness

The Book itself is a Great litterary achievement and a full drama cast only makes it Better. Written by one of the most influinchal Sci-fi writters of all time, Lovecraft was said to be "The Greatest Horror Writter of the 21st Century"

Great Old Ones

Very good dramatization on Lovecraft's story. Engrossing and fast paced. Definitely brings life to Lovecraft's universe. Short but Highly Recommended!

Classic Lovecraft

This was a good short story in the traditional style of Lovecraft. Full of suspense and looming danger. It again covers the ancient ones and man's interaction with them. Well acted, and entertaining, and still even a little bit scary to listen to in the dark.

Interesting

I wish Del Toro could’ve made a movie for this story. That would’ve been awesome. Great performances.

My favorite adaptation

This is by far the best radio adaptation of the Mountains of Madness. They do a great job of capturing the feeling and meaning of the original story in a short entertaining performance.

Highly Entertaining

I'm a fan of HP Lovecraft and audio dramatizations. I've listened to old radio shows growing up with my father and had The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings on audio cassette. This harkens back to the days of "The Shadow", "War of the Worlds", etc. This gives me as much joy as they did.

Did not like this at all.

I did not like this at all. It was just weird. I don't know where all the great reviews are coming from because I would not recommend this book at all.
