Not Bad per se, but whiny and boring

Poor action sequences
Whiiiiny deliberately immature characters
Sadly, there’s a decent underlying plot- but it’s too much mental work to get thru it

Great story, Book 1 to 3

I’ve read these books & this audio book is just as great. Just about to start the next 3. Performance is excellent,

Very enjoyable listen, kept excited and look forward to more!
The end was a little weak and I would have liked ties or hints as to what was in store for the surviving crew!

The performance was dry and bland little to no emotion rather monotone throughout the book. You get used to it. The performance wasn't my cup of coffee

this was an awesome book. the storyline is grasping. the the unexpected plot twist are very good. highly recommend

The way the story was written, I enjoyed it. the story is very well thought out. The writer didn't try to put some. how can I put this unrealistic tech in which I enjoyed because it made it easier to visualize the book

This would make an awesome Minny series

I didn't know what to expect, but I liked the story more and more as I listen to it. The performance is great and superior to just a Narrator. Well done! I suspect, I'll get the second Volume soon.

Good Story Concept, great characters

Ken always creates interesting and compelling characters. This is great lightweight sci-fi, like the trashy romance novels my wife likes, but the aliens are all creatively designed, the challenges compelling, and as an audio book that you can listen to while multi-tasking, it's an engaging "read" and a great performance. I probably wouldn't bother spending the time to actually read this on paper, but i drive a lot, so it keeps me occupied (at a price).

Great for a long commute

I enjoyed the story and was entertained. Voices were a bit growly and one dimensional but still good enough.

Very entertaining and fast action with many special surprises I didn't see coming. you will enjoy this book.

worth a listen

I enjoyed the series as I found it fairly imaginative. The narrator did a fairly good job - I have heard better but also much worse. I did notice the "said" after different characters spoke (by the author, who could have been much more imaginative) as referenced by other reviewers, but it did finally improve after a while. Just get past the annoying "Kaylen said" and "Zach said" parts in there and it's a good listen.
