When you have vision problems, sometimes you have to settle for a book instead of find a great one. Not this time. I was blown away by this.

This blew me away

This was my first book by this author, and I've been burned enough that I almost expect an unfamiliar author to suck. While it had only one review, said review was positive enough to convince me to take a chance. I stayed up all night listening to this book. If the next book was available I'd be binging on it instead of writing this review. The story was interesting and the pacing was outstanding. It flowed so smoothly that I didn't realize how long I'd been listening until the sun started rising. If you enjoy sci-fi then I recommend getting this book.

Wow. Great characters. I like to listen while I walk. I walked an extra 2 miles today because I wanted to finish the chapter. Is that bad?

Intriguing and suspenseful

I really enjoyed this. Good story, great narrating. Perfect way to start my Summer break.

I don't like the narrator. at all

the story (so far) is awesome. I love the characters.

The narrator's voice is wrong. He sounds like a slightly drunk philosophy major meeting his girlfriend's father for the first time. It's pure ingratiating suck up-age

Unexpected

I listened to this because I liked some of the work Stewart Daniels has done before. I didn't expect to find a really great book in the process. OMG When does the next book come out? I can't wait!

Stunning

Interesting world. Loved the magic, and the guns, the swords and the girls. Was finally happy to see and hear a story where the female romantic lead was tougher and more noble than the guy. Was this really written by a guy? Great job Stewart Daniels! Something about your voice lets me enjoy the story without getting hung up on guys doing girl voices or girls doing guy voices. Loved this. Website says September for the next one. I'll be waiting.

This book is a snappy listen !

I was sad when I finished and found out the next one isn't out yet. Not for a few months. It was cool to see what other people visualized Umi, Dalt and Katie as, though.

Another Fairy Bastard

I found it quite entertaining, and am alarmed there isn’t a sequel. Will there be, or am I to go to the end of time wondering how it ends?

Love this story

New author delivers an amazing story that I couldn’t get enough of. It was lengthy and well worth the credit. I love this audiobook.
