picked a winner!
I hardly ever write reviews, preferring to just do the stars, but this book just totally won me over. I cant wait to find out what happens in the next book! Great characters, interesting history, and the narration is soo very good.

Great Story line!

One of the best narrators I’ve heard in a while
Great storytelling-however I listened to it right after “In Times like these” i should’ve waited…that’s a slightly better story but this narrator more than made up for.

Very Entertaining
This is definitely a page turner. I have read many time travel novels, but none like this. I enjoyed the story and the performance. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there were some incorrect scientific statements (Very simple; not quantum mechanics) and a few places where the incorrect vocabulary was used. The performance is wonderful except in a couple of places where the narrator got his character voices mixed. Most people wouldn't even notice these minor errors.

Great concept and thrilling story.
If you like time travel stories - and enjoy intelligent writing and a massive story arc - then this is for you!

Well thought out and meaty!
An entertaining Time Travel Fantasy worth the read. Strikes good balance; Gritty enough to hold the more mature reader... some nifty handling of Time Mechanics that are relatively fresh... Enough gears and gadgets for a steampunk enthusiast... Enough modernity to call it Urban Fantasy,.. Enough romance without being laden with excessive Teen Angst... Enough unsolved mystery in the story and mechanics to properly justify a series going forward. Excellent and talented Narration by Rupert Degas.
