Not bad

A good story, although my eye twitched a bit with all the mispronounced towns and words from the narrator lol

Fantastic Series

I loved this book series. The narrator was awesome. His voices and emotions were spot on. He is a great storyteller. The books were amazing too. If you like post-apocalyptic books, you will like these. One of my favorite things was that no character was perfect. They each made dumb mistakes and then had to admit it was dumb. I hate it when a book has that one character who always does everything perfect and right. That’s not possible. In this series all of the characters are flawed, just like in real life. It made the characters seem so real, especially when the narrator was so good at voicing said characters. As soon as the last book ended I jumped online to see if there were anymore books in the series. I wasn’t ready to leave their world just yet. Alas, this is a trilogy, so it’s over and I must move on.

Good Series

The first two books had an abundance of intensifiers, which detracted from the storyline. By the third book, there weren't as many, which made listening easier. The women were often frustrating, especially Trina, who was hard to take. I would have liked to have seen Nick step up to the plate more, as a leader, rather than letting the whining women dictate what the group did. I would like to see more books written with these characters, as well as purchasing the author's other series. It appears he is growing in his writing ability. I would highly recommend this series!

Great P.A.T

I really enjoyed the whole series. I listened to this in about 3 days. It was hard to put down. The character development was really good and the story-line went well with the scenario. There were a couple conflicts that I thought were a little skewed and didn't quite fit the groups ability (like the teenagers being able to steal all their food from a lodge they were staying). Overall I like this writer and would read/listen to more from him. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Narration was Great

The story was OK. a little jerky in some parts. The ending was a little unsatisfying.

Long but worth it

I really liked this book, I started it just before the Covid 19 news broke and stopped listening for a while, seemed too real, but after things became normalized with the lockdowns and stay at home orders, I started to listen again... glad I finished it!!!

Good Story

I enjoyed the story line but the narration could have been better as it sounded like it was being read.

After the Outbreak

After the outbreak is a fun little PA survival series. The book follows the story of a group of characters that find eachother after an apocalyptic virus takes out most of the population of the world. It begins by following a few different characters and their different experiences just prior to the outbreak and after the outbreak hits and their journeys for survival and how they end up coming together in the end.

It has many of the same types of situations as many other books of this type and is done fairly well and if you enjoy this type of book you should enjoy this. The main characters are pretty good people that you definitely care about and root for. It is always interesting to see how quickly society can fall apart and how difficult survival becomes.

The narration by Andrew Tell is great as always, I have heard many other novels by him in the past and he always does a rock solid job.

After the Outbreak isn't a groundbreaking PA novel but it definitely kept my interest and made me want to know what would happen next and I always wonder how I would handle these situations and what I would do differently.
