Adored

I loved the story and the characters. Unfortunately, I did not like the voices used to tell the story. When he used the voice that was supposed to be sexy/aroused it sounded like someone was tired & had been screaming.

I truly enjoyed the entire series & look forward to additional tales of McCade Taggert. What happened on the last mission?

Excellent But.....

Ryan West's narration is awesome as always and of course, Lexi Blake's story telling is great. HOWEVER, 1001 Dark Night's should have coordinated the release of Adored with the release of the rest of the series. If you haven't READ the previous books through You Only Love Twice, do NOT listen to this book as it is one giant SPOILER ALERT!! It refers to the conclusions of most of the previous stories. IF you have read the previous stories, then you'll love this.

Such a tender story

Thank goodness Ryan West is back narrating. This wasn’t a normal erotic tale from this series but it was still one not to miss.

I hope it's not too much longer for audible to have all the books in the series available. Looking forward to hearing more!!!

Another hot book from Lexi Blake!!!!

As always, Lexi Blake never fails to disappoint. The story has all the components from love to lust yet it was still a very sweet, romantic book. Ryan West did a fantastic job with the characters.... it didn't hurt that he has the "lustfully dark timber" to his voice that makes your panties burst into flames.... yum yum yum... sigh

I loved Adored and getting to know more characters in the M&M world. Ryan West is the best.

Not As Much Humor

While I enjoyed this audiobook, it wasn't one of my favorites in the series. I got better toward the end.

Mitch and Laurel had an abundance of communication issues. As much as Kai tried, Mitch was hanging on to his childhood problems for dear life. But then, I had to take into account Mitch was keeping secrets.

Laurel was manipulating situations left and right. It wasn't in a terrible way, and it was done with Mitch's best interests at heart. Or Laurel believed that is why she was doing it.

There was the element of danger and suspense. I felt like this book was missing some of the humor. Mitch and Laurel's relationship seemed to me to be a tad toxic at times. Hurtful things were said, there was a lack of trust, and a sense of desperation that felt a bit too intense to me sometime.

Secrets came to light. Rifts were repaired and healed, new people were introduced, and it did end with an HEA. As usual, the narration was on point.

Great listen.

I love how all the friends lives are also involved in the series. Great listen.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK

Such a sweet love story. It draws you in and warms your heart. And excellent narration by Ryan West.
