Mindfulness Meets Real-Life

I was not sure about books of that kind, but I received this as a present. It helped me to cope with my stress on daily basis , the exercises are straight forward and impactful; my favorite section is managing digital habits , it felt like as if the book knew new that I need it.
Creating screen-free zones and taking 'device sabbaths' felt doable and made my days more peaceful.

The books also takes you through the ACT Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with its practical tools ( for example digital detox plans , really easy to follow, which particularly helps you reduce screen time ), I am sure you will find the 6 week program and the 101 steps, actionable as valuable and really helping increase focus productivity and of course mental health
The exercises also help you rt be mindful, self reflective and active managing your habits
encourage mindfulness, self-reflection, and action, which makes this easy to use, gradually manage the change and results you want.
it helped me with the procrastination, anxiety, or even being too tied to your phone, this workbook is worth checking out. It’s practical, no fluff, and genuinely helped me align my actions with what matters most. I would highly recommend this book

Great Workbook!

The author has done a fantastic job with this audiobook/program. I am happy that they included a pdf of the book, it made it easy to follow along on my first listen and work through the exercises. On my first listen, the section on digital detoxing really hit home for me. I know I waste way too much time scrolling through social media, and the detox plan in this guide helped me realize just how much and gave me steps to cut back. I also found the productivity exercises super helpful. Between working full-time and going to school, life can get pretty hectic. These exercises gave me a solid plan to stay on top of everything and make it all work. You can tell the author put a lot of time and thought into putting this guide together. The narration is clear and easy to understand. This audiobook will be one that you come back to time and time again, I recommend this book to anyone who is looking to improve their life.

Intro to ACT

Before listening to this audiobook, I wasn't completely familiar with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I'd heard of it, but that was about it. I now realize that I was in need of this, and I plan to implement several of the steps in my daily life, especially the digital detox!

Lots of great information!

This book is such a comprehensive tool to refer to if you want to do self-awareness work. I loved the part about shadowing as those past experiences can have such a huge effect on current day decisions and choices. The exercises were very practical and very effective to bring out traits, habits, self-talk that might be holding you back from living your best life and honoring you.
