This book is written under specific conditions of which you should be aware. First, it’s not a “how to get rich” book for individuals looking to maximize their 401(k) or invest in the stock market. I have other material for these purposes. Secondly, it’s not a book for all people of all backgrounds.

Truth be told, I wrote this book for Black people, because we have a job to do. Our job is to reverse hundreds of years of discrimination and exploitation and the expropriation of trillions in black wealth that continues to evade our community.

This book is also designed to lay out a framework to understand how trillions in black wealth are lost every single year, due to poor cultural habits and family structure.

The Black family is, inherently, a multimillion-dollar institution.

I loved this book from top to bottom. Even at points of looking down at my shoes in self reflection, this book truly lets you know there’s hope if we listen. There’s actually someone that put in the work, and shows what it means to be an asset to your community. Every black family should own this book. I call this book my families roadmap to reparations.

Dr. Watkins created a simple but informative road map to helping families create generational wealth. He reinforced the ideas I’ve had, but broke down why I need to create urgency. High recommended for families who want to setup the next generation for success.

An essential work for the future of our Black culture.

Not just lip service. Dr. Watkins lays out very clear steps for ensuring our families not only survive but thrive. This is uncommon advice that a great many of us don’t get at all or get too late in life. Well done! I only wish it was recorded in his own voice.

I like the fact that the book had a focus on improving the Black Community
