Stephen James Parker was born in Tenterden, Kent, United Kingdom, in 1975. He’s spent most of his adult life working and studying, helping others overcome their shyness and be more confident in their social, professional, and personal lives. His books exist to help others with this, their communication skills, emotional intelligence, and otherwise to aid in transforming their lives the way he did his own. Having struggled with severe social anxiety that he felt was holding him back in life, he aims to help others overcome it the same way he did. Between the people he’s met and the experiences he’s had, he feels as though the new, learned lease enhanced his experiences in the life he earned through hard work and practice. Stephen strives to help his audiences, be they in person or his readership, achieve their life goals that they may be hindering themselves from along the way. The most important thing to know is what you don’t know, and to understand and overcome your limitations is an extraordinary, freeing experience. Driven by the desire to build more meaningful, successful relationships and become the best-selling author he is, Stephen has overcome his crippling shyness. He now lives comfortably in his home in Kent, with his wife and two small dogs. He travels and speaks extensively with new audiences as often and far as possible to help give them the same opportunities to better themselves that he was given when he began his journey of self-transformation.
