About Dr Ivan W Perkinson Ivan has enjoyed four separate and remarkable careers. First Career: As a professional speaker, marketing consultant and strategic planner for 25 years, Ivan logged over 3 million miles of air travel giving presentations in 49 of the 50 states. Second Career: As a community Pastor, He founded a non-denominational fellowship in Chesterfield County and broadcast a 15-minute daily program on AM and FM stations titled "An Encouraging Word with Ivan Perkinson". As a minister for 26 years, he has officiated at 360 weddings and over 1600 funerals and over 400 baptisms in central Virginia. Third Career: As a professional artist for the past 30 years, Ivan has painted thousands of paintings with 170 of his originals being made into signed and numbered lithographs or greeting cards. His art web site is ww.ivanartstudio.com. Fourth Career: During the past 18 years, Ivan has been helping families with the necessary paperwork and phone calls following the loss of a loved one. He has made over 10 thousand in-home visits and represented families with probate matters in eight Circuit Courts in Central Virginia. Ivan read 1,200 non-fiction books and personally interviewed hundreds of successful people searching for the common concepts and principles that they used which ultimately made them successful. His seminars titled "Converting Dreams into Reality" and his corporate strategic planning sessions are the basis for much of his powerful books.
