The story is ok. The Ander voice is AMAZING ;)
I was really hoping for more of a storyline than this for Prince Nial. Especially in his cousin Dare's story he was made to sound like a spoiled childish prince. I really wanted to see him grow into his character. Ander is such a strong character there could have been more storyline on him as well. If you want hot bdsm sex scenes this is your book. If you're looking for a deeper dive into Nial and Anders story, you be left wanting. Jessica's side of the story is somewhat better except she went from being this strong military female to letting the men push her around so she lost all her strength to me. It was still a good listen to pass time.

I really enjoyed this book. Loved the mention of the Vet's. I do recommend this book because it shows a strong woman.

I wish someone had told me before I bought it that this was the prequel for the whole series.
Its got a lot more information about the original trio of the series, which I would have like to have known at the beginning.

I really enjoy these series, I’ve read them all several years ago & now listening to them. This particular story addresses veterans and their disfigurements, however, I don’t believe the US does as much as it should to support them. These stories have such an emotional attachment as well as most have action fighting the bad guys and super hot sex which is was turned me on to these authors, yrs it’s two best friends co writing them. Mr. Pottsworth did a really good job with all the male characters & Ms. Conway was good as a narrator also.

This book is my absolute favorite of all the bride books. I've read the entire series and the other linked series books several times, and still, this one is the one I come back to again and again.

This story isn’t just smut, it actually has a storyline. I liked the progression of the FMC. I also liked how the author tries to connect two different worlds through similar concepts. Overall not a bad book/ story.

Wow the narrators were amazing 👏🏿 😍. This have to be 1 of my favorites so far! I love how the story went so reliable to independent women who always have to be strong and in control. Sometimes you just want to be soft, trust and let go. very nicely told, I really enjoyed the story.
