About this listen

Kennedy

Hello, my name is Kennedy, and I’m an addict.

Pills, booze—you name it, I tried it. I wasn’t exactly particular about it. Now, I’m two years sober, in a new country, and looking for a fresh start.

But my noisy, upstairs neighbor is testing the limits of my sobriety. He’s either watching an adult film marathon, harboring a hooker, or performing an exorcism in his flat.

Regardless, I don’t need beer goggles to see that Silas Graves is the finest bloke I’ve ever laid eyes on.

Silas

Hello, my name is Silas, and I’m going blind.

As a struggling actor, I’ve taken a lot of crummy roles. But this is one role I’m not ready to fill.

So, nightly I swipe right or left, because in my bedroom, I never feel blind. The lights are out, and it’s a level playing field. And oh, how I love pretending to be fully sighted.

Honestly, I deserve an Emmy.

But truth be told, all of this has left me feeling nothing but empty.

Maybe it’s time to stop hiding and chase after what I want.

And what I want is the girl downstairs.

Dear Listeners: Take Me Down is a full-length, standalone, enemies to lovers romantic dramedy. LOTS of steam, no cheating and a HEA. Intended for a mature audience

Beautiful

I went into this story blind and am so glad I did. It was a beautifully written love story and I enjoyed it immensely. Both Kennedy (FMC) and Silus (MMC) healed each other so much throughout the story and had great character development. I laughed, I cried, and I feel in love with these two characters. This is the first book I have read by Avery Kingston and it most definitely will not be my last!!!

🦯🦮❤️😎😍 “Love is Blind!”⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A love story with all ingredients that ends in perfection! The characters are complex with their own struggles and challenges. Enemies at first “glance,” but as the plot develops, Silas and Kennedy’s demands for surviving lead them to a tumultuous and spicy relationship that entangles their hearts forever. I loved their story from the beginning to the end! I laugh and I had tears of joy! It has potential for a great motion picture! It is my first audiobook of Avery Kingston, and I am anxiously waiting for more, please! The voice of Sean Masters was powerful! My newest favorite male narrator! Emily Mount narration was stellar! The story and narrators are perfection, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You will not be disappointed! Listen to it with an open mind because is not the average love story, and that is why this audiobook so special! Happy listening!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Unexpected Pleasant Surprise

I have not listened to another book by Avery Kingston before but this was great. I enjoy mature characters who have evolved and tackled life's hurdles and this fit the bill in way that felt authentic. To that end the book took me through a range of emotions.
I enjoyed the narrators portrayal of their roles, especially Sean Masters. He's a totally believable radio voice. I don't think I've heard Emily Mount before, but her portrayal of Kennedy was beautiful. I'd love to see more audiobooks produced by this author. Highly recommend!

Listen to this amazing story on repeat

I read the physical book when Take Me Down was first released and loved Silas and Kennedy's story then. Sean Masters and Emily Mount's performance takes Avery's amazing story of love, loss and enduring strength and took it to the next level.

I loved the banter, the story line the hea. He is a man going blind she is a recovering addict that start as enemies to lovers. So good. Can’t wait to read more of her books.
