About this listen

18-year-old Scott Keating knows a whole world exists beyond his parents' strict control. But until he gains access to the World Wide Web, he really has no idea what's out there. In a chat room Scott meets "JeffUK". Jeff loves and understands him, and when he offers to bring Scott to the UK, Scott seizes his chance to escape his humdrum life and see the world. But when his plane touches down and Jeff isn't there, panic sets in.

Collars and Cuffs' favorite barman and dom-in-training, Ben Winters, drops his sister off at the airport and finds a lost, anxious Scott. Hearing Scott's story sets off alarm bells, along with his protective instincts. Taking pity on the naïve boy, Ben offers him a place to crash and invites him to Collars and Cuffs, hoping his bosses will know how to help. Scott dreams of belonging to someone, heart and soul. Ben longs for a sub of his own. And neither man sees what's right under his nose.

It takes a strong man to submit

Nick Russo's performance highlights this finely detailed story. The characters come alive in this realistic BDSM themed novel with 80% emotional / 20% sexual content, roughly speaking :-) I enjoyed seeing Ben and Scott mature by way of their "chance" relationship and — having spent some time as a sub myself — resonate with much of what was revealed. Good stuff!

I felt so sorry for the submissive

What made the experience of listening to Someone to Keep Me the most enjoyable?

The fact that money was NOT the focus of the submissive.

voices are good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series

i love this book but...

the voice for Ben and Scott was rather fitting... however.. for a book based in England only 2 characters (Ben and Peter) had non-American accents... and the one that really threw me was Master Thomas... why did he sound like Kermit rhe Frog??? it was jarring when he'd go to speak and I'd mentally link him with Miss Piggy instead of Peter!!

Scott and Ben

Someone to Keep Me is book 3 in the Collars and Cuffs series. I love this book. Scott has been talking to Jeff online and when Jeff sends him a plane ticket to England to meet him, Scott jumps at the opportunity. He's 18 and can't wait to get away from his controlling parents. When Scott gets to England Jeff is nowhere to be found, but thankfully Ben had been there at the airport dropping off his sister. Ben rescues Scott and takes him under his wing. I love how the other subs befriend Scott and make him part of the family almost instantly. It's a bit of a rough road for Scott and Ben but they get their happy ending. If you enjoy D/s stories you don't want to miss this one or this series. Definitely recommend
Narrator Nick J. Russo does an absolutely amazing job in bringing these characters to life.

Another Great Book on this serie

I was really worried by Scott and all his online experience of meeting a guy from another country and being "invited" to go live with Jeff in UK... But then, when I though things would really get bad for Scott, he met Ben...
Ben is a Dom in training at Collars and Cufs and he let's Scott live with him temporarilly until a better solution if found for Scott.
I must confess that I wanted to hit Ben upside the head a lot of times, to make him see what was right in front of him, and that Scott was perfect for him.
Even wanting to strangle Ben a few times (hehehe), I loved this story and how Scott and Ben found their way into a relationship.

Someone to keep Me

This book follows Scott & Ben- Scott, an 18 year old young man who flew to the U.K. To be with "Jeff" a man he had fallen for via Internet -- arriving at his destination, there was no Jeff.

Alone in a strange place, Ben saves Scott and takes him to meet his friends at "Collars & Cuffs Club" to see how they can all help the displaced boy. Scott, is not sure if he is hallucinating or suffering severe jet-lag but he had to be imagining what he is seeing at this "Club" Ben had brought him to..

Their relationship continues to grow from that day..but Ben is looking for a submissive and Scott is not sure what he wants except for someone to keep him, however he and Ben come to an agreement after Leo gets involved to make Ben see he doesn't want Scott going to another Dom.

This Is a great story. Like other books in this series the men have some emotional damage but they are still lovable and the story will make you laugh and cry..

It's great to keep seeing previous couples such as "Alex & Leo" & "Thomas & Peter" -- the narrator is different in this book but still does a good job.

Overall 4 stars for story & performance -- (Audiobook Reviewed by Alpha Book Club)

a disappointing.....

Any additional comments?

BEN was my biggest problem with this story..
I can honestly say I've NEVER wanted to punch someone more than I did Ben in this book. I really disliked him as a character .I'm positive that no-one who thinks of himself as a Dom worthy of the title would treat a sub like he treated Scott, pushing him away not once but TWICE and the second time they even had a contract in place but Ben sent him away back to the US!! He was far too bothered about his money situation and too proud to consider the 'charity' that Leo was offering...and it wasn't charity, it was a fund to help boys like Scott get themselves on their feet!!
Scott is very young and extremely naive and innocent, having lead a sheltered life in the US. He heads across the globe to Manchester, without money or clothes, to meet up with Jeff, a guy he met online.
Another huge problem for me was Scott's parents just happened to turn up, not only in Manchester but at the hospital where Ben was lying injured after being hit by a drunk driver...how the hell did they know where Ben and Scott were??
All in all, a disappointing story for me personally but I'm sure others will see things differently.

wow!!!!

when I read the first book of the series, I didn't thought I would like the book, because of the BDSM subject. I was afraid that it will be too much for me, but unexpectedly I fell in love!!!
I fell in love with the club, with each one of the characters....
Leo captivated my heart from the first time he saw Adam.... seriously the first book was amazing!
what can I say about the second book about dearest Thomas and he's boy Peter they are so so cute cherishing and loving they have melt my heart and now I reach Ben lovely and amazing Ben so clueless but a great dom! the best there is!
I have listened to 3 books from the 8 in two and a half days it was a record time for me!
a little bit about the sex scenes in the book....
seriously I thought it will be rough and just not for me because I love sweet love and I hate violence but those books weren't about violence at all!
I suggest you should start to read or hear those books with an open mind and open soul and I'm sure you will enjoy it!!
Nick j Russo is one of the best Naruto's on Audible seriously you can provide voices and emotions sex noises hard feelings happiness sadness and all!!!
loved the book's!!!

Love this series. This is book three and was a great addition to this amazing series. This story is about Scott and Ben and was so good. Ben is a Dom and he needs a sub and Scott just wants to belong and be loved by someone. This two are perfect together. Loved there story can’t wait for more. The narration was great.
