Publisher's summary

The dice were rolled. The pieces set. Agreements made, oaths struck, and the gods sat back to watch the grand experiment unfold.

All but one.

Betrayal was nothing new to Blath. Betrayed by friends. By lovers. Then by the Elves, who rained boulders down upon the last goblins alive, and those sent to destroy them.

But a betrayal of a god against another god?

When an oathbreaker walks this new world, others will follow. Friends and foe alike will find themselves thrust into situations far beyond their comprehension. Srink, the Goddess of Goblins, bargained for her chance for her people to start again. With opportunity, there are others who will do anything for a chance at a new life.

Some, like the kobold, see Blath and his lovers as an opportunity to advance and turn a new leaf. But not all come with ideals of peace.

With the oaths broken, conflict is coming and the gods themselves are angry

Another hit can't wait for more

The crazy goblins just get crazier. The kobalr is best girl and a tiefling will be interesting to see how that works. It will be interesting to see who else joins his side.

oathbreakers are the best characters

I love where the story is progressing and how it's all being brought together. Goblin slayer in the streets Goblin Layer in the sheets.

Book 2!

Quinn is an author that I've had the pleasure of listening to quite a few books of his. And although this is my least favorite of his books it still gets 5 stars. 🌟
The Kobold is seriously pushing the boundaries of age of consent.
But this is a good continuation of the series and I'm looking forward to the next book.
I'm giving this book 6 out of 5 stars.

Blath the cowardly barbarian would be a better title for this book.

At the start of book 1, Blath was portraied as a complete badass barbarian, however, since his rebirth its like he is experiencing the opposite of character building, his favorite move seems to be to hide and do nothing, so his opponents can have the upper hand in every fight...the way combat is written is also a letdown, he is a barbarian, having ranged opponents whop his ass in close combat makes the MC look pathetic...
