This is book one of the Treasures of Trillume series. Each a standalone romance, consensual spicy times, and an overarching plot laced between each book. World building sci-fi adventure but with a sexy twist. Strong females, and possessive (but respectful) love interests. For all you alien lovers out there that like vibrating, pulsating extremities, and mates that bond for life. The steamy bare chest should be evidence enough of what you are getting yourself into. Story: Luan (h), set to become the next leader of her dwindling planet Estreldez, is reluctantly drawn into an ancient mating ceremony. This ritual is crucial not just for tradition but as a desperate measure to save her species. Seeing it as her duty, Luan plans to use this opportunity to seek new technologies and alliances to rescue her planet. However, her plans are complicated by Vareo (H), a rugged pirate from Sholonus, who infiltrates the ceremony with a mission to steal a valuable jewel. The jewel turns out to be Luan herself, and sparks fly as Vareo and Luan realize they are fated mates. As the two get to know one another, things heat up between the two, even as they navigate their own internal conflicts, responsibilities, and feelings. Hot and steamy alien fated mates romance with plenty of action and drama exploring intrigue, personal duty, turmoil, and more.

Audio: The narrators did a really great job with this story. The audiobook uses a male narrator and a female narrator – I always appreciate when an author goes for the additional costs of having two narrators so that listeners can hear male dialogue with a male voice and female dialogue with a female voice. Nowhere Eternity does a great job with the tone he brings to the male voices, and Sage Amor gave Luan a voice that seemed to embody her, as well as other female voices. The audio quality is good and there were no issues.

I loved this book. It kept me on my toes until the end. Both voice actors did a wonderful job. I can’t wait to hear more done by Sage or Nowhere. The raw emotions portrayed were top notch.

I enjoyed this book so much. The plot pulled me in from the beginning till the end. There is qut a bit of drama but it's to be expected with these characters and the struggles they are having. Most importantly there is a HEA that's perfect! Great book 👍

Both aliens but different species, Luan and Vareo’s first meet at a moon ceremony met to pair potential mates. However, both have ulterior motives, one altruistic, the other more self-serving. With a rich and unique world, the characters in it are still relatable and entertaining. I loved Vareo - swoon! - what a wonderful rogue, and the narration of his parts was delicious. I wasn’t as big a fan of Luna’s chapters - her narration was a bit too tremulous for my tastes. Overall, a great read and a solid listen.

Two individuals with different goals, and misunderstanding the potential outcome, know only that they do not intend to fall in love. Things never run smoothly, however, and the two are attracted to each other through their interactions. Not recognizing the “danger”, will they each inadvertently end up with what they want?

I enjoyed the author’s approach with this story line, and I liked the characters. Luan is a princess who cares deeply about her people but I believe she over-estimates what she can actually accomplish herself. Vareo has his own agenda but feels a strange possessiveness toward a lovely woman he sees. Not identifying what that feeling may signify, will the two be blind-sided and drawn together before they can contemplate any repercussions? The narrators for the audiobook version, Sage Amor and Nowhere Eternity, try to use their voices to personalize the story and make it easier for the listener to get an accurate idea of what each character is like. If they interpret the characters correctly and use the correct emphasis as they speak, it can help to set the mood and can be a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the book. The narration this time didn’t do that for me. It wasn’t the worst I have heard, but it didn’t add that special enjoyment I usually find in well-narrated audiobooks.

Story Impressions –

Fated mates can be tricky, especially when Luan’s mate could jeopardize her planet and her species. Sounds like forbidden love, alien-style, and I couldn’t get enough. The characters and world-building suck you into Jewel of the Alien Bandit. The romance is hot while the setting is pure science fiction. It was pure bliss to listen to the voice actors act out the story. I seriously lost sleep over this audiobook. If you love alien fated-mates romance, you have to give Jewel of the Alien Bandit a listen.



Voice Actor’s overall voice –Sage and Nowhere have vibrant voices with great personality. They take each character and brings them to light using inflection, dramatic pauses and more.


Does the voice actor fit the characters?Yes, they do. Both Sage and Nowhere use their voices as an instrument, so each character has their own voice. Their voices are the embodiment of the characters, and it makes it such a joy to listen.


Voice Actor’s reading style –The reading style is effortless, and I found it easy to get caught up in the story. The pronunciation is clear, no matter which character is speaking.


Voice actor’s impact on reading experience –Sage and Nowhere add a new level of enjoyment for me. I’ve listened to a lot of dual narration and these two are the best. Their characterizations of Sky Robert’s writing are brilliant, and I would love to listen to it again and again.


Voice Actor’s pacing –The pacing is well done with plenty of dramatic pauses so the reader can follow along without getting lost.


Audiobook flow –The audiobook flowed from start to finish with the right balance of action, romance, and intrigue. I didn’t want to stop reading.


What makes this audiobook unique –What makes this unique is the storyline and the way Sage and Nowhere brought it to life. I just finished reading it and I want to read it again.


Would I recommend this audiobook –YES! I would recommend this to any reader looking for a science fiction fated-mates alien romance with plenty of sexy times. Highly recommend!

So many twists and turns. I honestly needed a break about 75% through. I stopped and read something super fluffy to calm the angst. It is very emotional and I tend to feel the characters with them. Very well written and I’m excited for the next story in the series!!.

The storyline was truly different than most scifi alien romances out there, I lm hoping to continue the story in book to asap. I can't wait to here what happens next. It was fast paced and spicy. if I had any complaints at all it would be that at the beginning if the audiobook the volume seemed to go up and down on narration, but it stopped. First time listing to these narraters and they did an amazing job.
