About this listen

Eighteen-year-old Leticia Stewart will soon be married to Sir Henry Vexin, the strict gentleman who has been her guardian since she came of age, but first, she must be properly trained. Though Sir Henry's plans for Leticia will often leave her blushing with shame, she will also frequently find herself quivering with need as her beautiful body is thoroughly and skillfully mastered.

To help prepare his young bride for her new role, Sir Henry enlists the aid of Dr. Reginald Brown, and when Leticia refuses to undress for the respected physician's examination, she is soundly spanked. But it is only after she is caught in a scandalous act with her beautiful young maid that Leticia truly learns what it means to be punished in the most intimate way possible.

Very good Audible book and story

This is a story about the Victorian era when women were spanked and disciplined by men. The characters were well developed, and the storyline was easy to follow. If you like reading about spankings and disciplinary actions this book is for you
I did receive the Audible book for free and said I would review it.

Bride's shameful training

Normally I enjoy books by Emily Tilton; however, this one I had a really hard time with. There is so much in this book that I had issues with. The setting is "Victorian", in which the Main Female Character (Leticia) and Main Male Character (Sir Henry ) would be considered nobility. The secondary character, Celia is a maid. As such, I would expect a book set in this era to have Leticia treated with a certain amount of respect. Over and over Leticia is degraded in front of the servants, and "put in her place" which it seems is the lowest order of the household. This is NOT what I would expect from a Victorian lady of the household to be. The servants are specifically told not to hold her with any type of esteem. This bothers me. Henry "says" he "loves" Leticia, yet he places her maid "above" her by telling Celia she has authority to punish her lady. There was no connection for me between Leticia and Henry. Henry sets her up in order for his plan of marrying her to come together. He pits the maid and lady against each other, in order to maintain "control". In books I am usually ok with a little lesbian sex; however this book goes beyond what I like. I also enjoy books where voyeurism plays a part, but again this book goes beyond what I would have liked (and I like books with bdsm & sex clubs). I definitely had an issue with Henry decreeing that the maid will share their marital bed. I enjoy books with multiple partners (three-somes, four-somes); however, I prefer it to be a reverse-harem type book, and that the characters are respected. You can write an erotic book with spankings, bdsm, even some humiliation and keep it respectful. This book totally missed the mark with that. I feel that this book was about the abuse of Leticia. There was no "consent" on her part. I think that is my biggest issue with this book.

Terrible

This audiobook had no storyline. I could not connect with any of the characters The premise of continually forcing the female characters was appalling
