About this listen

You only get to have your senior year once. And if Callum George can never live his last wild year of high school again, he's going to make sure it's the best one of his life. He'll audition for every role. Drag his friends out on every whim. Do anything and everything he wants, no matter how wild.

And anything and everything he can to forget his parents' recent divorce.

But he never expects the distraction he needs to come in the form of his new drama teacher. Mr. Redford is the most gorgeous man he's ever seen in his life...and completely off-limits.

That won't stop Callum from trying.

Not when the thrill of secret touches, the promise of the forbidden, makes Mr. Redford even more enticing. Not when under the teacher's seemingly cold indifference smolders a desire just waiting to break past its boundaries. Callum knows it's wrong. Redford knows he can't.

But when can't only makes them want it more...Callum will discover a new side to discipline when he ends up at the bottom of the class.

This story contains adult language and explicit, erotic scenes. Content warning for stalking, internalized homophobia, and a student/teacher relationship.

Good!

Callum is a senior, about to turn 18, when he meets the sexy Mr. Redford, aka Aaron. Forbidden flirtation and a growing emotional connection leads to possible damage to reputations. But their attraction is mutual and strong, what happens when Callum turns legal?

Sweet quick story that delivers a happy ending. I definitely recommend.

The audio narration was good.

Great Teacher/Student

I really enjoyed this teacher /student romance. I really like the storyline, it's well written and I like how the relationship developed and progressed between Aaron, the teacher, and Callum, the student. I appreciated how Aaron really tried to put off Callum whike being his teacher and especially while he was underage. Great story that I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the teacher/student genre.
The narration is okay, for me it was little bland because it's more of just reading the story than really portraying the characters' feelings and moods. I prefer when the character voices are more defined and that they fluctuate according to the character's feelings or to what's going on at the moment. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I liked it

I liked this book. The story was fast paced, characters interesting and the ending satisfying. I thought the narrator was good, but at times I wished he did a better job with character voices. Even though the relationship is between a student and a teacher, they had a good chemistry from the first meeting and I enjoyed following their relationship development. I would recommend this short story to readers who enjoy romance with a bit of age gap between characters and like when the story is different.

Enjoyable listen....

I listened to the audible of this book so some of the complaints I've seen in reviews about bad grammar or writing style I can honestly say I didn't experience at all. The narration was good and I was able to follow the story just fine. This story could definitely be considered controversial by some however nothing happens until the MC is 18 years of age and the "teacher" is constantly trying to push Callum away from him. This was the first time I ever experience a book with a "taboo" topic and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how it was handled. I wish the book had been longer but it was an enjoyable short listen.

A Teacher/Student Relationship

This is for the audiobook version. This book didn’t work for me but, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad book. I can see how others would enjoy it. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters interesting. The characters were developed and thought out. Callum and Aaron are the MC’s of this book. The story is told by Callum’s POV.

The narration wasn’t bad I am neutral as far as it is concerned. I am really picky about narration and this wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. The narrators style is more narration than voice actor. It wasn’t monotone, but it could have used more ups and downs with emotions and events. Because it was more narration the voice differences weren’t a lot. It was my first time listening to this narrator. He does have a pleasant voice and because he wasn’t bad I would listen to him again. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
