About this listen

An ancient evil has come to Old Ironbound - is it a dragon, or is it something else?

Ymir has obtained six of the eight Akkiric rings - the rings that allowed Aegel Akkridor and his wives to live for a thousand years - but the more he studies, the closer he comes to learning the secret behind the great vempor’s death.

A secret that may mean death for Ymir and his wives, as well.

With a murder in Four Roads, his supply of xoca beans gone, new information about the Fayee, a demon king on the march, and rumors of a dragon, Ymir barely has time to please his women and flirt with the Princept of the school. Are these distractions from the destruction to come, or will Ymir need all the help he can get to face the darkness descending on Old Ironbound?

Disclaimer: Barbarian Dragonslayer is a steamy slice-of-life harem adventure in a magic university on another world. The sex scenes are explicit but don’t get in the way of the story as it slowly unfolds. Enter a dark fantasy world from the mind of Aaron Crash, the best-selling author of the American Dragon series.

So much fun

Almost made me cry at the near end. Love how much personality you each character has. Wish anime would learn from this.

Still the same quality

The pacing felt slower, but if you liked the previous books there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Great!

I feel like I should have seen the ending coming. The fact that I didn't is what I really enjoyed about this book.

Keeps her better

The series keeps getting better with each installment. This one had more action than the previous books and also widened the world. If you have enjoyed the previous books you will like this one even more.

Enjoyable

I found this book to be enjoyable. The sex scenes were not as long or explicit as in others, and I found that it worked out well that way. There was more time spent on story development and it showed. I do believe, however, he could have done a better job adding his newest wife to the harem. The way he did it seemed a bit abrupt. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the book.

Great

Wonderful job tying the previous villains to the current/ reoccurring figure Unger. Definitely curious to see how the Barbarian learns of the final ring, and to see if the magic he learned through Unger will be used again.
