About this listen

Abel’s heartbreaking childhood contributes to his emotional baggage; his life has been one of hate, denial, and secrecy. His father, a polygamist cult leader, sends young men away from the compound in Utah, so at 18, his mother drives him to the city. A dancing job opportunity finds Abel moving to Minnesota. Two years later, he’s mysteriously fired. Without savings, Abel needs a Daddy to take care of him, and he’s found the perfect one at the Blue Diamond Diner.

Diner owner Darius Eriksen’s dream is to find a boy who needs a Papa Bear to take care of his needs. Darius belongs to the Bearded Papa Bears. Membership requires Papa Bears wanting to be a daddy to a boy; they pledge to love, care, and discipline their Baby Bear. Two years after Darius’ Baby Bear leaves him for another Papa Bear, he’s ready to find a new Baby Bear and commit again.

Baby Bear is about two damaged souls, realizing that the other is exactly what they need at the right times of their lives. This story is a stand-alone MM romance that follows their relationship. It has some D/S elements and a guaranteed HEA.

Sweet Fast Paced Listen

I really liked Darius and Abels story. It was a fast paced listen but kept my attention. This book was different than most Daddy/Little stories I've read. In this book a group of men formed a club and have a ceremony to have a Papa Bear claim his Baby Bear with the baby bear getting a teddy bear from his Papa instead of a collar. It was adorable. I could see this easily becoming a series and definitely recommend.

Great story horrible narration

I think this book is really profound, I found the story really engaging and brings you into each of the characters personalities and what they are going through. However I don't understand how people are giving such great reviews about the narrator. I'm used to listening to the top rated narrators . I'm sorry to say that this narration sounds like amateur hour.

loved it

I loved this book. The narrator James Rainwater really makes this story come to life and make you love the characters even more. Abel's family send him away at the age of 18. Because his father is a leader of a polygamist group. Abel ends up working as a dancer. After two years working he is fired for no reason. With no money he needs a daddy to care for him. He thinks he found one at the diner nearby. Darius wants a baby bear it has been two years since his previous baby bear left him for another papa bear. He has his eyes set on Abel but Abel has no clue. Will both Abel and Darius be able to overcome their past so they be together?

Love Baby Bear

I didn't think that I wouldn't be able to handle the age gap but I should have known better because of the exceptionally talented
Brina Brady wrote this book in her unique way and style that I found myself lost in another world. Baby Bear was another one by this author that had me up to the wee hours of the night to finish it. Love Baby Bear.

Wonderful Story

This is the story of Abel who after a horrible childhood finally finds his Daddy in a man named Darius who needs him just as much as he needs Darius. Together they find their way to a happy ever after. James Rainwater really brings the characters to life and makes you feel like you are part of the story. Another great Brina Brady story brought to life. I loved it!

Absolutely loved this audio book.

❤🎧 narrated James Rainwater
A fantastic narrative in this book. Various voices used to bring the characters to life. I loved the dialogue for Abel he's a tottally cutie. Daddy Daruis's griff voice added in the storyline as did the other characters.
A Daddy and Boy story meeting for the first time but it wasn't a truthful start for Darius 34 yrs. Deception and troubles and new friends for Abel.
Hot sexy scenes included with a few bumps in the road for their romance. Both had baggage to over come which effects there present lives.
A gorgeous ending for a HEA for Daddy Darius and his Baby Bear.. An apply named book.
Abel 22 yrs grew up in a life in a cult commune until they threw him out. Finding a job as a dancing he'd been eyeing a handsome man before they officially met.

Working It Out

I have mixed feelings about this book. I love the idea of the story and end the end I like how things developed and worked out. But throughout the story there were times when I really didn't care for any of the characters. There were times when I thought so many of them were thoughtless or too quick to jump to conclusions. Also, there were side characters that one minute were painted as a villain and the next as a sympathetic character.
I listened to the audio version on my morning walks and it was well done.
