Characters Were Lacking Common Sense And Communication Skills Which Made It Difficult To Finish!

This is the first story that I have read/listened to from this author and the previous reviews were decent. The storyline was believable but the denseness of the characters throughout this story, ready bothered me! I decided that I was going to finish it regardless of how annoying and dense the Fallon character and her mother were. I like the Brooks character much better, but unfortunately, she also had a lot of communication skills that were lacking. It was like running my nails down a chalkboard, but I soldiered on (paid for it) to complete it. Perhaps, characters from other books from this author have smarter communication skills and perceptions that don’t make an individual reading or listening, feel as though they’re an idiot for continuing on. The performance was good and storyline was decent, that’s why I gave it three stars.

loved this book. enjoyed the characters, would love to see Brea added to Casey Cain series!! Hanna old enough yet.

Excellent Story

Secrets can kill you! This is a great story of dealing with family and life.... and love. Having recently dealt with the same, the alzheimer depiction was spot on.

Great Story!

This was a great story! The two main characters were wonderful! Lots of chemistry, and angst. Dealing with Alzheimer within the story was sad and hard to deal with. But Ali wrote it in with taste and understanding.

The love Brook and Fallon had was beautifully depicted and taste. Well done. I loved the character of Bria and I she’ll get a book of her own. Perhaps a crossover with the Cain Casey family.

The narrator was wonderful and did an excellent job. Well done Lula Larkin!

Another great story

When I read the summary I admit to thinking, hmm not sure. Only for a moment since everything Ali Vali has written has been excellent and this one was too. Sequel would be nice

Lost Rivals

In a world of A. Vali only can you truly believe in good and the loved. A most intresting story of love lost, love found and a dumb sibling to help ruin everything. LOVE the twist and a great listen.

Repetitive

After reading other reviews I expected more. The characters seemed to have the same conflict and conversation throughout most of the book and I found them stuck in a cycle. It was okay but I didn’t find myself that invested.

This whole book is excellent!

I absolutely love this book from beginning to end. I actually listened to this book twice. each character intrigued me and I absolutely love Bria. please write a book about her please!!! Ali Vali and Lula Larkin are a great team!!!
