    In the fifth episode of Villa Podcast: The Official Aston Villa Podcast, we speak to former striker for the Villa, Manchester City and England, Darius Vassell. Kate Tracey and Alan McInally sat down with Darius in the Players’ Lounge at Bodymoor Heath where he spoke about growing up within a stone's throw of Villa Park and fulfilling his dream of playing for the club. He spoke about the incredibly influential role the late Sven-Göran Eriksson played in his career; working with him at Manchester City, bringing Darius back from Turkey with Leicester City, and of course handing him his England debut. We also heard how he coped with the heartbreak and mental toll of missing a decisive penalty, sending England home from Euro 2004. We also busted some myths on this episode, as Darius told us the truth behind his injured toe and the Black+Decker drill...
